Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance Become More and More Important
Chris Kay thanks practitioners for bringing a positive message to the community.
Chris Kay helped coordinate the parade in Te Awamutu. He was impressed when he learned that the Tian Guo Marching Band members came from New Zealand, Sydney, and Melbourne. “Their costumes impressed me as well. Their movements are well coordinated and look terrific. I noticed the banner says ‘Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,’ which is similar to this community’s values. We advocate peace and kindness. The practitioners brought positive messages to our community, and I much appreciate their participation,” said Kay.
He continued, “I believe that every one of us in the community appreciate what (the practitioners) did today. We will definitely invite them next year. The Falun Dafa practitioners make the world different. The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance become more and more important as the world becomes busier.”
Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are Values We Should Embrace
James (middle) and his sisters Coral (left) and Serena said they admire Falun Dafa’s principles.
James and his two younger sisters Coral and Serena praised the Tian Guo Marching Band’s performance. James said the band was wonderful. “We got their fliers, and the messages they sent are brilliant. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance can penetrate people’s hearts and break the ideological barriers between people. I like Truthfulness. I have been looking for the truth all my life. The world is filled with abundant lies and people are lost,” said James.
He pointed to the Taichi symbol tattooed on his arm and said, “I like the balance between Yin and Yang from Taoism. Everything is about balance. I also highly agree with the principles of Compassion and Forbearance.”
Helena and Lucy work in a cafe nearby and came out to watch the parade. They said the Tian Guo Marching Band was their favorite group in the parade. “The blue and white costumes are so beautiful that we almost want to join the band. Unfortunately we don’t play any musical instruments, but we can hold the banners. The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are what we should embrace,” they said.
Falun Dafa Wins Respect from the World
Li lives in Hamilton and has came to New Zealand for dozens of years. When the practitioners walked by him, he held a camera on one hand and gave the practitioners a high-five with the other. He said, “Falun Dafa is good and I like their performance. Falun Dafa has won respect from the world. Unfortunately it is suppressed in China, which makes no sense. Many Chinese people are deceived by the government’s propaganda. The values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are truly good.”
The Principles of Truthfulness, Compassion. Forbearance Benefit Society
Officer Richard Terese praised the Tian Guo Marching Band’s performance.
Police officer Richard Terese said that the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance are great. He said that the police have similar values, such as righteousness, kindness, sympathy, tolerance, and patience when things get difficult. “If everyone could follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, I am a hundred percent sure that it will benefit the society,” he said.
“I enjoyed the Tian Guo Marching Band’s performance very much. It is fantastic. They not only played the music well but were very friendly to the audience. I like all the musical instruments, especially the big drum,” he said.
