Our Precious Fa Study Group‎

(Minghui.org) Even during the most difficult days of the persecution, our Fa study group did not have any interruptions. We have enjoyed this wonderful group environment since 2003.

We know that group Fa study is a form of cultivation that Master Li Hongzhi has arranged for Falun Dafa practitioners.‎ We go out in the morning to tell people the facts about Dafa and advise them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

We do this regardless of the weather, as saving lives is our mission. We then read the Fa together in the afternoon. If we still have free time afterwards, we share our experiences of recent events and other issues related to our cultivation.

All of us look inward to expose our thoughts and deeds that are not in line with the Fa. Through sharing, we can learn from one another and progress in our cultivation together.

Master Li said,

“I know that you’ve all worked so hard. You have to work and you have to study, you have your family life and social activities, and at the same time you have to take care of your family, do a good job at work, and you have to study the Fa well and do the exercises well, and what’s more, you have to clarify the truth. It is hard! It’s pretty hard both time-wise and financially. It’s hard, so your mighty virtue is displayed; it’s hard, and so it’s a good opportunity to establish your mighty virtue. Remarkable! Since you are cultivators, even though it’s hard you should do even better.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference”, Guiding the Voyage)

Master’s teachings always encourage us, and we have tried our best to save more lives. The following are some stories of our fellow group participants.

A Practitioner Who Saves Lives with All Her Heart‎

Practitioner Bing is a college graduate. She has told people the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution with all her heart. She can recite, from memory, many events mentioned in The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and The Ultimate Goal of Communism. When talking to people, she often quotes these events to help people understand the CCP’s evil nature.

She once met a man who looked well-educated. She asked him if he had heard about quitting the CCP and its organizations to ensure a safe future; he didn’t respond.

She then talked to him about the corruption of former CCP leader Jiang Zemin, but he replied, “There was corruption in every dynasty for generations in China. The CCP is no exception! What is the issue!”

Bing explained patiently, “Those previous dynasties were not like what is happening now; the officials at all levels of the CCP are corrupt. In the past, people respected heaven and earth.

“The Temple of Heaven and Temple of Earth were the places where emperors worshiped heaven and earth. However, the CCP promotes struggle against heaven and earth by importing the theories of Marx, Engels, and Lenin to poison the Chinese people and lead them to betray traditional Chinese culture.

“Humanity was created by God; disrespecting heaven and earth, and promoting atheism invites disasters. When one joins the CCP, he swears an oath to give his life to it. Isn’t this a poisonous oath?

“One must quit the CCP from his heart to erase this poisonous oath before the Gods and Buddhas can bless him.” He said, “Oh, I see. Please help me quit, then.”

She not only went out during the day to help people quit the CCP but also went out in the evening to distribute truth-clarification materials.

During the process, she has encountered some troubles, but with compassionate Master’s help, she resolved them.‎

A Practitioner Who Treats Sentient Beings as Her Loved Ones

‎Practitioner Cai once met a woman and said to her, “Madam, there are many natural and man-made disasters nowadays. People are quitting the CCP and its organizations for a safe future. Did you quit?”

The woman replied coldly, “I don’t believe it. Many people have told me about this, but I have not quit.”

Cai said, “I told you this because I consider you as one of my family members, and I sincerely hope you have a good future. Quitting the CCP and its organizations and reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good,’ ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ can keep you safe amidst disasters! I would feel relieved if I knew you were safe!”

Cai’s kindness touched the woman. She went from having a grave expression to a smiling face and said, “Then help me to quit please.”

“Now, you’re safe!” Cai exclaimed. “Please also tell your husband to quit; it would be great to see both of you safe!”

The woman enthusiastically replied, “Okay, I will talk to him. Thank you!”‎

Practitioner Guan Improves Her Xinxing‎

‎Practitioner Guan’s father-in-law was seriously ill, and his children were taking care of him. The elderly man once poured his leftover porridge back into the cooking pot in front of Guan, even though she had not yet eaten.

A healthy person would not dump his leftover food back into the cooking pot, let alone an ill father-in-law. His son wasn’t happy and whispered, “Why did my father do this?!”

Guan wasn’t happy either; she thought he did it on purpose.‎‎When she talked about this incident at the Fa study group, other practitioners commented, “This happened to expose your attachment; is it for you to improve your xinxing? Look inside yourself for your attachment.”

With other practitioners’ help, she understood her attachment: “This happened to expose my mentality of thinking that my father-in-law is dirty.”

Guan loved cleanliness and could not stand any dirt at home, much less eating other people’s leftovers. This would be especially so with an elderly man with a serious illness.

Having realized her attachment, Guan improved her xinxing. Soon afterward, her father-in-law did it again. However, she did not feel disturbed this time. She shared with us, “When I found my attachment, I discarded it. A practitioner must have a righteous mind. Everything around us can be righteous only if our minds are righteous! I should thank my father-in-law for helping me discard this attachment.”‎

The reason our Fa study group has continued to this day is because we have compassionate Master’s protection. Every step we took was with Master’s encouragement; our gratitude to Master is beyond words.

Only by diligently cultivating ourselves and saving more lives can we be worthy of Master’s salvation. We must walk our cultivation paths well and go home with Master.‎
