Overseas Practitioners Should Pay Attention to the Copyright of Master’s Dafa Exercises Instruction Videos and Lectures

(Minghui.org) One day, my wife said that we have not yet watched Master’s Fa teachings in their entirety, so I downloaded the videos to watch them on my computer.

When we downloaded the Falun Dafa exercises instruction videos, we noticed the copyright notice at the beginning of the video that everyone is welcome to view the videos online, but that only people in mainland China are authorized to download it.

Since we are outside of China, we did not meet the download requirements. We quickly deleted what we downloaded. I don’t know if this problem has been noticed by overseas fellow practitioners, especially those who came out of China recently. Because piracy is rampant in China and people have less awareness of copyright issues, I would like to make them aware of this.

I used to see a Dafa exercises instruction video posted by someone on a popular overseas website. This is a big mistake. I hope whoever uploaded the video will delete it as soon as possible. I made a big mistake about ten years ago by uploading the electronic version of Zhuan Falun to an internet storage website. When I realized it was a big mistake and tried to delete it, I couldn’t even remember which storage site that I used. I hope that fellow practitioners will learn from my mistake.
