A Practitioner’s Goodness Awakens People’s Kind Nature

(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa more than twenty years ago. I’d like to tell you about a few of my recent cultivation experiences while talking to people about Falun Dafa and how distancing oneself from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is beneficial. 

Determined to Save the Grandson

Master said,

My city reopened from the pandemic on March 15, 2020. Another practitioner and I went out at 7 a.m. the next morning to talk to people about Falun Dafa. We noticed a teenager and his grandparents waiting at a bus stop, so we clarified the truth to them. 

We started by talking about the current pandemic, but the grandparents refused to believe what we said. I looked at the teen and said to his grandmother, “This is your grandson, right?” She said, “Yes.” I continued, “Please be careful taking the child to ride the bus during this pandemic.” 

I took out an amulet, and told the grandmother, “Reciting the nine words on this Falun Dafa keepsake will keep you safe. It’s your choice to believe it or not. This young man is your family’s treasure and hope. I’d like to help you.” I handed the amulet to the teen. 

The grandparents froze at first. Then their attitudes suddenly changed and they said happily, “Thank you!” The teen smiled happily and accepted the amulet. I persuaded him to withdraw from the Communist Young Pioneers, and he agreed. 

I told the grandparents, “Now the child is safe, you should be safe too.” We clarified the truth to them again and persuaded them to withdraw from the Communist organizations. This time they both agreed and thanked us repeatedly. 

Compassion Awakens People’s Goodness

One day, another practitioner and I were clarifying the truth in front of the largest supermarket in our area. I talked to an 18-year-old girl about withdrawing from the three communist organizations, and she listened attentively. 

The girl’s mother came out of the supermarket and yelled at me for talking to her daughter. I didn’t think I could quickly smooth out the situation, so I walked away. I heard the girl telling her mother. “Stop screaming. You’re making a scene. There is nothing to scream about.”

I turned around, smiled at the girl, and said, “Your daughter is so kindhearted.” The mother smiled and said, “Yes she is, but she just doesn’t want to listen to me.” I walked back and said, “You are so lucky to have such a good daughter.” The mother looked pleased. 

I seized the opportunity to clarify the truth to them and persuaded them to quit the three Communist organizations. I explained why millions of Chinese have already quit the Party. They both agreed to quit.

Child Has a Predestined Relationship with Falun Dafa

One night at 7 p.m., we went out to clarify the truth. I saw a young woman with her three-year-old son in front of a store, so I approached her to clarify the truth. She refused to listen and waved me off. 

When I gave an amulet to another person, the three-year-old saw it and wanted one. I didn’t give him one because he was so little. He asked his mother to get one from me, but she ignored him and turned around to look at the goods for sale. The boy followed me and kept saying, “Please give me one.”

I could not refuse such an innocent child. I knew his knowing side was asking for it, so I gave him an amulet. He jumped for joy, held it high, and ran to tell his mother. I followed him and told her, “Your son wouldn’t leave until he had the amulet; he has a predestined relationship with Falun Dafa. He will be blessed. If you take care of it for him, you will also have a good future.” 

She was happy. I told her about the withdrawal from the three Communist organizations. She accepted what I said, and agreed to quit the Youth League and Young Pioneers. She thanked me repeatedly. When I walked away and looked back, she was still waving goodbye to me. 

Seize Every Opportunity to Save People

The coronavirus cases were rampant in my area. People couldn’t find work because no one would hire anyone from Hubei Province. They had to return and make a living by street vending at night.

Every night, there were several big street vending sites filled with people. This provided us with a new place to clarify the truth and save people. We seized the opportunity and increased our efforts by going out to do truth-clarification twice a day, typically, once in the morning and once after sending forth righteous thoughts at 6 p.m.

One night, I saw a farm vehicle with three children sitting on it parked by the roadside. The youngest child who was only a few years old got off and walked toward the center of the street, while a motorcycle was fast approaching. The grandfather was close to the child but did not realize what was about to happen. The situation was urgent.

I was a few steps away from them, and shouted to the grandfather, “Quickly take the child away!” The grandfather immediately grabbed the child and carried him out of the street. In the next instant, the motorcycle drove through the spot where the child had been standing. 

When the grandfather thanked me, I clarified the truth to him. He was happy to accept what I said and agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The two older children also withdrew.

It has been thirteen years since we began face-to-face truth-clarification to awaken people, rain or shine. There were many challenges. We experienced joy. I also experienced pain when people called the police and had me persecuted. There were exciting moments when we escaped danger under Master’s protection. No matter what kind of difficulty we encountered, I did not slack off. I continued to do what I was supposed to do.

Master said, 

“...And the persecution can no longer confuse me.A righteous mind leads me to walk the divine path,And honor permits no looking back.”(“Honor Permits No Looking Back,” Hong Yin III) 

I thank Master Li (Falun Dafa’s founder) for his compassionate salvation, which has brought me to this day. I also thank my fellow practitioners for their selfless help!
