(Minghui.org) The “Zero-Out Campaign” began in our area in October 2020. This large-scale harassment by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) used all means to force practitioners to renounce their belief in Falun Dafa.
For example, they coerced a daughter-in-law, who was just discharged from the hospital, to fight with her parents-in-law, so as to force them to give up cultivation practice.
The elderly couple could do nothing but go and talk to the branch Secretary of the county CCP and tell him, “Our daughter-in-law was just discharged from the hospital. You must not upset her.”
The Secretary responded, “If she is upset to death, she deserves it!”
Days later, officials from the county government and officers from the Criminal Police Brigade went to the couple's home and forced them to sign a renouncement statement to give up Falun Dafa.
In another incident, CCP personnel used many methods to pressure a female practitioner to give up her faith in Dafa, but she refused to cooperate with them.
As a means of pressuring her family members to participate in the persecution, they confined her at home and also cut off the electricity at her husband's factory,
Under the stress from continuous harassment, this practitioner's 97-year-old mother passed away.
A male practitioner was also harassed when more than a dozen police officers and CCP officials drove to his home. The practitioner was in a store nearby and, upon seeing the officers, walked home and scolded them, “A few days ago, I was not at home and your folks broke into my home illegally and ripped paintings off my wall!”
The Director of the People’s Congress in the county government shouted and demanded this practitioner open his door. But he refused and said, “Let's go talk in a place where many people can hear. You come every day, and you even keep me from eating!”
Someone shouted, “Arrest him!” The practitioner said, “Let’s see who dares to take me away! I never broke the law, so it is illegal to arrest me.
“Every one of you should leave me your name and phone number. I don’t have a phone, otherwise I should have taken each of your pictures. Your inappropriate actions will be dealt with in the future, and the evil doers will receive karmic retribution!”
The director looked scared and immediately got into his car and drove away. Soon afterward, all the officers also drove away.
After sharing, we realized we should expose the evil according to what Master Li taught us. We visited the practitioners who were harassed and collected the names and contact information of the perpetrators and sent it to the Minghui website.
With the help of overseas practitioners and their international truth-clarification calls, we greatly deterred the evil.
We also wrote “An Open Letter to Our Relatives, Friends and Fellow Countrymen” to expose the names of the persecutors and practitioners being persecuted. The letter was sent to every family in our village and exposed the true face of the so-called “servants of the people.”
My cultivation state was not very stable at the beginning. I just had some righteous thoughts, but they were not very strong.
After we sent the letter, there was talk that the police were going to conduct a mass arrest. When I heard this, my heart became unstable again. Through concentrated Fa study, we realized it was absolutely correct to expose the evildoers.
We then sent the letter to all the villages in our county. My heart became unmoved, and my attachment of fear was disintegrated. Afterward, we had an experience sharing meeting and talked about how people reacted to the letter.
Some people used to have a mixture of sympathy and doubt towards Dafa. But after they read the letter, they were convinced everything that the practitioners told them was true.
One of the CCP officials who used to participate in the “Zero-Out Campaign” told the practitioner who gave him the letter, “You Falun Dafa practitioners often call us.”
The practitioner said, “You should listen to them, as what they told you is beneficial to you.” The official replied, “Yes, what they said was all good.”
The mission of Dafa practitioners is to save sentient beings. If our mentality is in line with the Fa, we can think and act righteously, and the Fa will reinforce us with intelligence and courage.
We will also successfully negate the persecution and save more people.
