(Minghui.org) Recently a few material production sites in my area have been harassed and spied on by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials. Thanks to the protection from Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, we didn’t suffer big losses. However, these sites are not currently in operation, which undermines our mission of saving people.
Based on what I have seen, I would like to share my understandings of these incidents with fellow practitioners, hoping more will pay attention to this issue and discover our shortcomings so that we can improve together as one body.
1. Too Few Material Production Sites, Which Shoulder a Heavy Load
Many practitioners have failed to create a good family environment for having material production sites at home. So, in our area we did not achieve the state where the sites “...spring up everywhere.” (“Teachings at the 2005 Conference in San Francisco”) Moreover, a round of large-scale persecution a few years ago destroyed some material production sites. So, we have very few sites now. They are large and all have very heavy workloads, including making booklets, posters, Dafa books, and other materials. The demand keeps increasing. The sites have also become storage rooms for all supplies and tools.
The practitioners running the sites have become very busy, and don’t have enough time for Fa-study, exercises, and sending forth righteous thoughts. Sometimes they recite the Fa while making the materials, but not with a calm and focused mind.
I hope that practitioners who have the ability to set up sites will help reduce the burden on the existing sites. Let the sites blossom everywhere and run smoothly.
2. Too Many Practitioners Are Involved with the Sites; Not Enough Attention to Security
An article published on Minghui.org required us to separate the material production sites and group Fa-study sites. Also, the fewer the practitioners know about the sites, the better they will run. Only the practitioners who are in charge of making the materials and facilitating communication among us should know the details. It should be kept secret from other people, especially non-practitioners.
In recent years, some practitioners have loosened up their security because the environment has become relatively safer. So, many material production sites have become the Fa-study sites with heavy traffic. Many practitioners come and go from them every day. Some practitioners even pass out materials and talk to people near the sites after they picked up materials. Some practitioners knock on doors loudly, talk loudly, and sometimes even argue loudly at the sites, not worrying if they would be heard by the neighbors.
Some practitioners didn’t want to keep the materials at home for security reasons, so they went to the sites for materials every day, not considering the security of the sites. Some practitioners even brought strangers to the sites.
All of these would cause problems. In today’s cities, very few families have visitors all the time. Wouldn’t the neighbors be suspicious when they see that so many people come to the sites? We should keep the sites on the down-low.
3. Practitioners Don’t Pay Enough Attention to Cellphone Security
Master has told us many times to be careful when using cellphones. Many articles on Minghui.org have also talked about this issue. There have been many cruel lessons. Some persecution in my area was also related to cellphones being monitored, but many practitioners still use them for communication because they are convenient. The practitioners also believed that they had strong righteous thoughts that would protect them. They often called fellow practitioners casually and even brought cellphones to the sites.
Master said,
“You know about how phones can be monitored… I can tell you that every mobile phone we carry on us is serving as a listening device. The CCP is sitting there listening in on even your casual conversations, and they hear everything clearly. Every Dafa disciple’s mobile phone is being monitored. So how could anyone think you could go undetected by them? And mobile phone calls are traced very quickly. As soon as you call someone they will get that number and will then start monitoring that phone as well. It’s very rare, if not impossible, for someone not to be identified by them. They will know about you as soon as you participate in a public activity.” (“2018 Fa Teaching Given in Washington, D.C.,” Team Yellow Translation)
There should not be any ambiguity on this issue, which has been repeatedly clarified. If you don’t pay attention to security, you may bring trouble to other practitioners and the sites. So, please consider others, not only your convenience. It is everybody’s responsibility.
4. Practitioners Don’t Realize the Significance of Truth-Clarification Materials
Some practitioners didn’t bring materials with them when clarifying the truth to people. They thought that it would be safer. There would be no evidence for the evil to persecute them if they got caught, as if the materials are evidence to justify persecution. If many practitioners have similar thoughts, the evil will have an excuse for persecution and harass the sites.
Truth-clarification materials are magical tools to save people. If they are unnecessary, why would Minghui.org design so many beautiful materials? Materials can have a wider reach than our words, and people can pass the materials around, helping us spread the truth.
After experiencing interference, I hope we can all calmly study the Fa, look within, correct our shortcomings, intensively send forth righteous thoughts, and turn bad situations into good ones. Let’s all cherish the time that Master has extended for us, and do the three things with a clear mind.
