(Minghui.org) While participating in Dafa projects, the evil often isn't the hardest thing we need to face. The most difficult thing we face is most often poor cooperation between practitioners, and being unable to work together effectively. I wanted to share my understandings about this in the hope that fellow practitioners will take fewer detours in their cultivation.

One thing that has stood out to me very strongly is practitioners focusing their gaze on other practitioners, instead of looking inward and finding their own shortcomings so that they can improve. We fail to realize that these so-called shortcomings we see in others are precisely things that we should quietly supplement for. We don't consider that the reason we feel uncomfortable about these shortcomings is because we are unwilling to expend effort; we don't want to, are unwilling to, and don't really want to conduct ourselves as Master has taught us. We utter grandiose words and have others do the hard work. If we can procrastinate, we will. If we can rely on others to do things, we will.

Most of the conflicts between practitioners are caused by things that we say without being considerate of whether others can accept it. We say whatever we want to say, harbor strong jealousy, and harm other practitioners. We even look down on other practitioners and figure that they must have inferior xinxing.

Wanting to prove that you were right is an indirect way of saying that other practitioners were wrong. How is this different from forming cliques among practitioners?

One must persist in studying the Fa during the cultivation process. Studying the Fa is of utmost importance. Master has spoken very clearly about the issue of cooperating with other practitioners. Everything depends on whether we can act in accordance with the standards of the Fa. If we act in accordance with the Fa, there is truly nothing that we cannot do. Only when we have traveled to the end of our paths will we realize that how we do things is not that important. What is truly important is cooperating with other practitioners. We really need to let go of our egos and all selfish thoughts to truly cooperate well with other practitioners. Only when we let go of self will we be able to remain unmoved during tribulations and be able to persist in cooperating with everyone.

A practitioner who was illegally detained in China was in tears telling her fellow practitioners that they must memorize Zhuan Falun. She regretted not making the time to memorize Zhuan Falun prior to being detained.
