(Minghui.org) With the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction around the corner, Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives issued a citation. “The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania joins in unity with the celebration of freedom loving patriots in the Commonwealth and around the world in joining and recognizing this celebration. May the practice of Falun Dafa continue to bring you all fulfillment and peace forever.”
The citation was initiated by State Representative Mary Isaacson.
Citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives
The citation reads, “May 13, 2021, will be celebrated as World Falun Dafa Day. A ceremony will be held on the lawn in front of the Liberty Bell May 8, 2021, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. to celebrate. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, ‘Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.’”
It commends the outreach of Falun Dafa practitioners to local residents, “Falun Dafa practitioners have touched the lives of local residents in Pennsylvania during these difficult times. They offer exercise instruction and health information through free on-line workshops, cultural programs on TV cables, outdoor exercises sites and various personal accounts. And many Americans have found it to be life-changing for the better and even life-saving.”
The citation also condemns the persecution, “...the U.S. Department of State published its 2020 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices on March 20, 2021. The section on China highlights human rights abuses by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), including those against Falun Gong practitioners and human rights lawyers.”
