[Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day] The Boundless Merits of Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) I have three sisters and one brother. We all live in the same city near our mother. Even though I was persecuted for practicing Falun Dafa, everyone in my family knows the facts about Dafa and supports me. They’ve also quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Because they support Dafa, they’ve been protected in several dangerous accidents. 

Nephew Unharmed after Being Rear-Ended by a Heavy-Duty Truck

My middle sister Hui has always supported me in practicing Falun Dafa. When I was persecuted, she went to the police department to appeal for me and demanded my release. She even paid a large amount of money to make sure they would release me. She always told people how much I changed after practicing Falun Dafa. When I was incarcerated, she helped take care of my child.

My brother Liang runs a small transportation company and I used to work there. I often clarified the truth to him and all his employees and persuaded them to quit the CCP and related organizations. Liang now believes Dafa is good after he learned the truth about the persecution and quit the Young Pioneers. 

I gave him some amulets that have “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” written on them. I told him to remember the auspicious phrases and said they would protect him in times of danger. He kept one in his billfold and never left home without it. He also put one in each of his company trucks.

Hui's son Wei, my nephew, got his truck driver's license and often helps his father. He also learned the facts about Dafa and supported me very much. He quit the Young Pioneers right after he learned the truth. He also sometimes helps clarify the truth. 

In the summer of 2015, my brother received a call from Wei, who said he’d had an accident. We hurried to the site and were stunned by how bad the accident was. Wei had been waiting for the traffic light to change, when he heard a loud “bang” that sent his truck flying to the other side of the street 30 meters away before landing under the traffic light. 

Fortunately, Wei was uninjured. He realized that another truck had rear-ended him. He got out of his truck and saw that it had been smashed to a pulp, absolutely totaled. One could only imagine how great the impact was. In the circumstances, it seemed impossible that Wei would have had no injuries at all, but he was truly unharmed. Everyone who had witnessed this thought that he was really lucky.

Udumbara Flower Melts My Sister's Heart 

My younger sister Yu was deceived by the Chinese Communist Party's propaganda. She refused to listen to truth about Dafa for a long time, but she didn’t oppose my practicing and supported me and my family when I was persecuted.

She has a large house and a beautiful garden, and our mother lives with her. We all get together at her house for the holidays. 

Whenever there was an opportunity, I played videos about Dafa at her house, clarifying the facts to relatives and friends and encouraging them to quit the CCP and its affiliated youth organizations. Even though my sister Yu was skeptical, her son was not and understood. 

In the fall of 2009, we found a few Udumbara blossoms on a potted cactus plant. She was delighted and called all her friends, classmates, and relatives and told them about it. Everyone agreed to gather and enjoy the flower.

According to Buddhist scripture, Udumbara flowers bloom once every 3,000 years. The appearance of this flower means that the Holy Wheel King has come to the world to save people. 

One of those who came that day used a professional HD camera to capture the Udumbara flowers up close. The flowers are luminous in the photo, ethereal and almost holy. When the photographer zoomed in, there was a ring of golden light around each flower. Everyone was amazed. 

From that day on, Yu's attitude toward Falun Dafa changed. She began to listen to me when I told her about Dafa. She began to think about the existence of Buddhas and their coming to the world to save people.

Right after that, all those that came to see the flower quit the CCP and its organizations. Yu even invited a policeman friend to see the flower. He was amazed. 

Since Yu understood the truth and quit the CCP, her health improved and she felt more energetic. Her son also behaved better and his grades improved. Their home business took off and they made a lot of money. 

Coming Out of Head-On Collision Without a Scratch 

In the summer of 2011, Yu was taking her son to school when she was hit head-on at an intersection. The other car had been speeding. Judging by the picture she sent us, it was a terrible crash: the front of her car was smashed and the hood was up, but they were both safe and sound.

Yu told me that she saw the car coming toward her from far away when she was at the intersection. The next thing she remembered was a large black shadow lunging toward her. She heard a loud noise and her mind went blank. When she came to it, she realized the car had hit her head-on. She saw the front ends of both cars smashed beyond recognition.

The driver of the other car was also a mother. Her son was going to college but lived at home and they hurried to school every morning. After she found out everyone was safe, she kept apologizing to Yu.

When the accident happened, my sister felt the car shaking, but her son did not even feel anything. Yu commented, “Thank goodness for Buddha's protection. A head-on collision like that? I can’t even imagine.” They know that it was Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, who protected them.

Nephew's Wife and Her Baby Saved

My nephew Qiang is the son of my husband's brother. His parents also practice Falun Dafa. 

Before Qiang got married, his girlfriend Yuan had already learned the truth about Dafa. When she was watching the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party DVDs, I heard her say, “I did not know the CCP was so bad. The more I see of its history, the angrier I feel.” She quit the CCP and its organizations before she finished watching the DVD.

Her future father-in-law gave her a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa. After Yuan read the book, she said, “Even though I do not understand many parts yet, I realize that this book guides people to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I realize what this is all about.” After graduating, she married my nephew. 

October 28, 2011, was an unforgettable day. Yuan was about to give birth. She began having labor pains around 4 a.m. By 7 a.m., she was in so much pain she could hardly eat breakfast. The doctor suggested she try an energy drink.

By noon, the baby was crowning. It should have been a smooth delivery after that, but the baby was stuck, and things got very serious very quickly. She tried to push, but instead, she threw up all the energy drink she’s had earlier. She was exhausted and sleepy. 

Her cousin, who is also a doctor, arrived to encourage her. She told her how to breathe, to try her best, and to not fall asleep. Her obstetrician was concerned because it had been too long, and both the mother and baby were in danger. She decided to use a suction cup (also referred to as a vacuum extraction) to guide the baby out. The outcome of such a procedure is not always good and sometimes leads to cerebral palsy or even the death of the baby. Her cousin asked the obstetrician wait for just a little longer and let the mother try a bit harder. 

The situation was grave. The baby had been stuck for over two hours. By this time it was in the birth canal, so a cesarean delivery was impossible. The doctor asked the family to sign the permission for the suction procedure if the baby did not come out in two minutes.

Yuan calmed down and remembered that her mother-in-law had asked her to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” whenever she was in danger. She repeated those words to herself over and over.

With the last of her strength, both she and her baby hovering between life and death, the baby was born!

By then it 2 p.m., and everyone in the room believed the baby was in grave danger since the delivery had taken so long. But she was crying like any other healthy baby and turned out to be perfectly normal! All the healthcare workers present exclaimed it was a miracle! They all commented that my niece was so fortunate.

Recalling that experience, Yuan is still profoundly grateful: “I know it was not because I was lucky. It was the Master of Falun Dafa who protected and saved both of us. We are deeply grateful for Master's saving grace. My daughter is now nine years old. She is intelligent and kind. She reads Dafa books with her grandma and also can recite Dafa's poems. Thank you, Master Li! Thank you, Falun Dafa!”
