(Minghui.org) May 13, 2021 was the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day and the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. Elected officials in New York sent letters or proclamations to mark the occasion. Two Council Members of New York City Council sent a letter or a citation.

Council Member Margaret S. Chin stated in her letter, “Thank you to all the practitioners of Falun Gong for continuously encouraging such proactive and spiritual philosophies within our Chinese Communities.”
“I am pleased to greet all of you as you celebrate the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day and the 29th anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa. Your festivities are important parts of our efforts to uphold and share Chinese culture and customs with the Chinatown community, and beyond.”
