[Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day] Folks in My Hometown Are Blessed by Dafa

(Minghui.org) I have practiced Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, for more than 20 years. I am the only practitioner in my hometown, a farming village. After I started to practice, I changed quite a bit both physically and mentally. My family has also benefited from my practice. To let predestined people know about the goodness of Dafa, I have returned to my hometown more often over the years and taken the time to talk to everyone in the village.

I told the villagers how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been persecuting Falun Dafa since July 1999 and urged them to withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations. I also told them stories of people being blessed after sincerely reciting, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good.”

Everyone in the village knows that I am kind and capable and believe what I say. Many of them, including my relatives, have been blessed for supporting Falun Dafa. Below are the stories of three of my cousins and an aunt, as well as that of the mother of an acquaintance. I hope that more people in my village can understand the truth and have a bright future. Cousin 1: House Intact in Big Flood

This cousin of mine is in his 70s. He always asks questions. When I clarified the truth to him, he raised all kinds of questions about the CCP's Tiananmen Square Self-immolation hoax. With his doubts answered, he declared, “There is no good official [in the CCP]. They do everything superficially and many of them have amassed a lot of money, without ever thinking about the welfare of the people.”

I asked him to quit the CCP with an alias, but he insisted on using his real name. When his wife expressed concerns about his safety, he comforted her, “Nothing to be afraid of. I just quit with my real name.”

My cousin and his wife have indeed been blessed for taking a righteous stand. They are healthy and able to farm their land, raise silkworms, and chop wood. Their daughter has done well for herself in a big city as have their son and daughter-in-law.

Another amazing thing happened to them. There was major flooding in my hometown one year, causing landslides that crushed many houses. The floodwaters rushed into the houses and rose as high as their beds. My cousin and his wife evacuated safely. Many houses nearby were seriously damaged and uninhabitable, and the owners had to move. But my cousin's house was not damaged a bit.

Cousin 2: Perforated Stomach Healed

Another cousin of mine relied on prescription drugs year-round. She spent everything her husband earned from farming and spinning silkworm cocoons on her medications.

Every time I visited her, she always complained, “You are kind and lucky. Look at me. When will my health problems ever end?” I always advised her that there would be no hurdle if she believed in Falun Dafa.

One day more than ten years ago, my cousin suddenly passed out and was rushed to the county hospital. The doctors found she had a perforated stomach with an opening as big as a chicken egg. She also had abdominal hemorrhaging and a heart problem. They did not dare to operate and suggested she be treated at the provincial Army General Hospital.

Her honest husband almost collapsed. He started to recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” nonstop from the moment my cousin left for the hospital. He couldn’t sleep that night.

My cousin was not admitted to the Army General Hospital because her condition was too serious to do surgery. She was sent home with no hope. Although her condition was serious, she was still conscious. She thought of what I had told her and recited the auspicious phrases in her heart all the way home.

Amazingly, she felt much better when she got home. I later gave her a media player loaded with Master's Fa teachings. She and her husband always sat up straight and listened to the lectures respectfully.

Slowly, her face started to glow. She could eat some porridge and then she could get out of bed and stand. She looked better day by day and was back to normal two months later.

Everyone in the village was surprised at what happened to her. She told them, “Falun Dafa and Master Li saved my life. Otherwise, I would be gone already.” Many of them have believed in Dafa after that.

Whoever reads Falun Dafa materials will be blessed, so I always brought pamphlets with me every time I visited her. I asked her to leave the booklets at the village store or distribute them to the villagers door-to-door.

She is now in her 70s and still very healthy. She no longer has to spend their limited income on drugs and has removed a tremendous financial burden from their children.

Cousin 3: Life Turned Around

Another cousin blessed by Falun Dafa did a lot of bad things when he was young. One year, he became disabled in a car accident and his wife left him. I told him the facts about Falun Dafa and let him know that good is rewarded and evil is punished.

After understanding the truth about Dafa, he realized his wrongdoing and believed that he was the one to blame for what happened. He quit the CCP and often recited “Falun Dafa is good.” His life began to improve after that.

He started to sell fruit out of a pedicab a few years ago and did quite well. Two years ago, he got married again and opened a restaurant.

He said, “Sometimes when things go wrong, I feel better if I recite 'Falun Dafa is good.’”

My Elderly Aunt Survived a 100-pound Door Falling on Her

My aunt is 98 years old. She never went to school and was poor her whole life. She moved in with her son but was not very happy because of her daughter-in-law’s unpleasant attitude toward her. Every time I saw her, she always complained to me about her bitter life.

My aunt cherishes the Dafa keepsake I gave her and likes to listen to Dafa stories about people being blessed. She has often recited, “Falun Dafa is good.”

During one of my visits, she told me something amazing that happened to her. She was at home alone one afternoon and decided to go out for a walk. As she pushed open the door, it suddenly fell on her because the door frame was rotten. It was a metal door and weighed more than 100 pounds.

My aunt said, “I could not push the door off of me. I shouted, hoping that someone would come help. But no one responded because all the neighbors were working in the fields. I suddenly thought of Dafa and started to recite the auspicious phrases nonstop. As I did, a neighbor came over to help me and called my son. My son was petrified. He took me straight to the hospital. Amazingly, I was not injured except for a small spot of broken skin on my leg.”

“I am so thin, I could have been crushed if Dafa hadn’t protected me,” she said.

An Acquaintance's Mother Quits the CCP

In clarifying the truth over the years, there were people who always refused to listen. While the CCP lies that have poisoned people was the main reason, my ignorance of their feelings was also an important factor. I was anxious to tell people how vicious the CCP was, but I did not say it clearly enough, so they misunderstood. One lesson involved the mother of my acquaintance.

She asked me to help her grandson (the son of my acquaintance) join the CCP Youth League. I said disdainfully, “What are you doing that for? People are quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations now. You should quit the CCP soon!”

To her, being part of the Youth League would give her grandson a leg up in the CCP-ruled China. She stared at me with a puzzled expression, wondering why I’d said that.

I added, “That would be like putting a bomb in the child's pocket.” That statement was even more unacceptable to her. She told many people later that I did not want her grandson to do well. My kindness was misunderstood. I felt bad about that for a long while.

Her house was later damaged in a flood and she moved to the city. Then she developed diabetes and poor vision and wasn’t doing well financially. I took this chance to visit her. I also brought some home-grown vegetables and apologized to her for my comments the last time we were together. I told her that she would feel better if she sincerely recited, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

She was moved and, this time, happy to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
