(Minghui.org) In July 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) decided to suppress Falun Dafa, a meditation system based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Twenty-two years have passed, and practitioners have not only withstood harsh persecution by the CCP, but have also explained the facts to officials as well as ordinary citizens, helping them to break away from the regime's hate propaganda.
As Falun Dafa Day on May 13 is approaching, many people who have learned the facts have sent their greetings to Minghui, wishing a Happy Birthday to Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa.
A media processional in Beijing said that a lot can be learned from the pandemic. “It makes one wonder what the purpose of life is. After all, when such a major catastrophe comes, it doesn't matter if you are wealthy or poor,” she wrote.
About 20 years ago, she had heard that in a morally corrupt society, anything could happen. Not long after that, she joined the movement to quit the CCP. “It is clear that the pandemic came from communist China, and anyone close with the regime could become victims,” she wrote.
Despite the ongoing persecution in China, she said that many people had heard the facts of Falun Dafa and became supportive. In turn, they have been blessed in many ways. “One person on a business trip was electrocuted by accident in a hotel, but he survived it by reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’. Another person was robbed with her cell phone taken away, she recited these phrases and the robbers left. There were incidents in which the car brake got stuck and one ended up safe by reciting these phrases,” she wrote, “We are all very thankful and we miss you very much.”
Residents in Jiangxi Province are grateful to Mr. Li and Falun Dafa. They have witnessed how the practitioners have improved their health and mind nature. As a result, many people became supportive and benefited as well. They include practitioners’ families, friends, relatives, coworkers, and neighbors. For the upcoming World Falun Dafa Day, they are very grateful and wish Mr. Li a Happy Birthday.
