(Minghui.org) Södertälje is a small town near Stockholm in southeastern Sweden. It is a famous seaside resort and a charming historical town south of Lake Mälaren and north of the Baltic Sea. Falun Gong practitioners held an event in Södertälje on Saturday, February 27, 2021. They introduced the cultivation practice and raised awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
The practitioners helped people see clearly the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They understood that the best strategy to avoid trouble and the CCP virus is to distance themselves from the CCP. After learning the truth behind the persecution of Falun Gong, (also called Falun Dafa), a resident wished to see the practitioners often and asked if they would set up an exercise practice site.
They displayed posters and two banners that said, “Stop Persecuting Falun Gong” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” A few practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Maria explained through a speaker to the passersby what Falun Gong is, and detailed the torture practitioners experience during the ongoing persecution in China.

Invited to Set Up an Exercise Site
The peaceful and encouraging energy surrounding the event brought warmth to the passersby. The passersby learned about the persecution from the practitioners, and many signed the petition to condemn the CCP. They also called for an end to the persecution. Many expressed support for the practitioners’ effort to fight the persecution. Some showed interest in learning Falun Gong.
Ingrid had a Falun Gong flier and told a practitioner: “I really like qigong, and am very excited that you are here. I am about to cry. Södertälje needs you here. I am curious about this practice and want to receive more information. I hope you come to Södertälje often. I hope you can set up an exercise site here.”
“People, Now Especially, Need to Know the Truth”
A security guard who worked in a market in Södertälje also talked to the practitioners.
“It’s outrageous,” he said, “that the CCP incarcerates practitioners, removes the organs from living practitioners, and sells them for profit. It not only persecutes innocent people and other religious groups, it also does many bad things around the world. It’s amazing that you stand up to the CCP, and tell people what’s happening in China. People, now especially, need to know the truth. What you do is very important.”
He hopes that all individuals and groups persecuted by the CCP can stand up and expose its evil deeds. This way more people can see the evil nature of the CCP and never buy into its lies and deceptions.
“Hope to See Falun Gong Practitioners Often”
Cecilia, a practitioner participating in the event, saw a group of rowdy young men. She approached and talked to them. The young men were shocked and angry after she explained how the CCP tortures innocent practitioners and harvests their organs from living practitioners for transplant.
“I know,” she said, “that everyone is annoyed because of the pandemic. We want to get the stress out of our systems, especially that of the young people. Why don’t you give Falun Gong a try? It might offer you some relief.”
As soon as she suggested this, the young men stood in a row and followed along with the movements as the practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Cecilia helped correct their movements. The energy at the event calmed the young men down.
Before the practitioners wrapped up the event, this group of young men came back. They were quiet this time. They told the practitioners, “Thank you for telling us the truth. We hope to see you often in Södertälje.”
