(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in 38 countries have recently submitted a name list of about 9,300 agents from the 610 Office at all levels in China to their respective governments. Practitioners request that their governments sanction these perpetrators of human rights abuses as well as their family members by barring them from entry and freezing their assets.
In early December 2020, practitioners had already submitted an abbreviated list to governments in 29 countries requesting sanctions. Nine additional countries were added this time. The 38 countries include 5 from the Five Eyes alliance, 25 countries from the European Union (EU), and 8 countries from other regions. More specifically, the Five Eyes include the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The 25 EU countries are: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Czechia, Romania, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Latvia, Cyprus, and Malta. The 8 additional countries are Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Israel, Argentina, and Mexico.
The 610 Office was established on June 10, 1999, under the order from former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin to launch the nationwide persecution against Falun Gong. Working closely with the Political and Legal Affairs Committee (PLAC) at all levels, the agency is an extralegal entity that mobilizes all branches of state apparatus to suppress Falun Gong. This includes the police, procuratorate, courts, military, armed police, intelligence, foreign affairs, education, media, healthcare, and others. Especially after Jiang issued the order to “defame practitioners' reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically,” the 610 Office system has planned, implemented, and urged almost all other agencies as well as organizations to participate in the persecution.
Besides the central level 610 Office, the agency also has branches in almost all cities, counties, towns, and villages in China. They also exist in state enterprises and large corporations. In the past 21 years since the persecution began in 1999, over 4000 Falun Gong practitioners have lost their lives due to the suppression. A larger number of practitioners were arrested, detained, imprisoned, and tortured. Furthermore, many practitioners suffered from psychiatric abuse, sexual abuse, and some even became victims of forced organ harvesting.
Numerous practitioners have lost their physical freedom, become injured or disabled, and suffered unspeakable mental anguish. Practitioners' family members have also endured tremendously, facing discrimination in school, at work, and in society. Many practitioners have also seen their families broken as a result of the persecution. The 610 Office is largely responsible for these tragedies.
There are about 9,300 individuals on the latest name list, ranging from central government to province and city-level branch agents. They also include staff members in the 610 Office in schools and other organizations.
Officials at the central level government include: Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong, Li Lanqing, Luo Gan, Ding Guangen, Jia Chunwang, Liu Jing, Jia Qinglin, Wu Guanzheng, Liu Yunshan, Meng Jianzhu, and others.
Officials at the province level government include: Du Libin (Beijing), Ye Luhua (Shanghai), Teng Jinran (Tianjin), Chen Ming (Chongqing), Zhang Zhongyu (Liaoning), Li Guanghui (Jilin), Guo Yan (Heilongjiang), Wang Lishan (Hebei), Lin Xiuting (Shandong), Jia Yuecheng (Sichuan), Zhang Shengqin (Guangdong), Jin Xiubin (Hubei), Chen Shulin (Hunan), Wu Xincheng (Shaanxi), and others.
Officials at the city level governments include: Zhang Changshun (Shenyang, Liaoning Province), Chen Fuchun (Jilin in Jilin Province), Xu Yujun (Weifang in Shandong Province), Li Kunxue (Chengdu in Sichuan Province), Zhang Zhanjiang (Tangshan in Hebei Province), Li Xiaosheng (Guangzhou in Guangdong Province), Tao Delin (Wuhan in Hubei Province), and Xi Junming (Baoji in Shaanxi Province).
Officials at city and county level government: Zhao Jian (Linquan County, Anhui Province), Lin Xiaoxian (Xiapu County, Fujian Province), Zhao Rongsen (Daxin County, Guangxi Province), Zhao Qingguo (Ji County, Tianjin City), Zhou Ke (Tongnan County, Chongqing City), Yang Qingshan (Niujing Town, Yunnan Province), and Yang Xiaofeng (Chaoyanggou Town, Heilongjiang Province).
Officials in remote regions: Zhu Dezhong (Bijie City, Guizhou Province), Chen Peifen (Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province), Sun Zonggui (Haidong City, Qinghai Province), Meng Youzhu (Jinchang City, Gansu Province), and Li Derong (Guyuan City, Ningxia Province).
Officials in the minority ethnic groups: Wang Jihong (Aksu City, Xinjiang Province), Ciren Duoji (Lhasa City, Tibet), and Liang Junfeng (Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia).
Covering all areas in China at various levels, these officials have formed a gigantic web and have directed the severe persecution in the past 21 years. But their crimes will not remain unnoticed. After the Global Magnitsky Act was passed in the U.S. in 2016, about 27 countries including Canada and many in the EU have adopted or planned to implement similar legislation to hold these human rights violators accountable globally.
