Why Was the Calendar Blank?

(Minghui.org) I always thought that passing out calendars with information about Falun Dafa would be the easiest way to clarify the truth about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Dafa, because people usually want and ask for them. I have been distributing them smoothly in the past two years. But I recently came to realize that I had been too focused on doing things and neglected to improve myself on the basis of the Fa.

At the beginning of this year, a fellow practitioner who had his celestial vision open suddenly wrote to me and described the following vision: he was driving with his parents in the back seat. I was riding my bicycle and handed a calendar to his parents. I left in a hurry. His parents opened the calendar and discovered that the pages were blank. They wanted to exchange it for a good one but could not find me anymore.

I was arrested one week after he told me his vision. When I received his mail, I wondered why the calendar was blank, but I did not dig further. I stopped distributing calendars, but I still could not figure out why my calendars were blank. Does that mean my effort was wasted?

After I was released and intensified my Fa study, I gradually realized why the calendar was blank. I had slacked off in my cultivation. The calendar did not carry the power of the Fa. It was not enough to eliminate the evil that manipulated the person who reported me and resulted in my arrest. I focused on doing things and only pursued speed and quantity–it was akin to ordinary people doing Dafa things. Of course I would be more prone to trouble.

I want my fellow practitioners who have the same problems as I did to heed the warning. Righteous deeds are done because they are backed up by righteous thoughts. It’s not something that can be done in the heat of the moment or by human righteousness and courage. Otherwise, I not only could not save people but also made them commit more sins. I am so sorry to have let Master down. Only when one cultivates well can one carry the power of the Fa and truly save people.
