(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Cezhen Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

3. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuying Arrested
4. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Fu Lahua Arrested and Detained
5. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Li Qihuai Arrested and Detained
6. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhou Wei Harassed7. [Shenmu City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Chen Guangchang and His Wife Ms. Li Fanli Arrested
8. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Wenjie Harassed
1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Cezhen Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Ms. Sun Cezhen from Chengyang District was arrested in April 2020 for clarifying the truth in a market near Liuting Street. She was later released on bail.
Ms. Sun Cezhen and Ms. Sun Jifen were summoned by the court in December 2020. According to Ms. Sun Cezhen’s family, she was sentenced to three years in prison. She is currently in detention. Ms. Sun Jifen’s information is unknown. She has been detained since the court hearing.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yuhong Harassed
Ms. Wang Yuhong was arrested by officers from the Jinsong Police Station in the Chaoyang District on February 22, 2020. She was later released on bail pending trial.
Ms. Wang’s family member received a call from the procuratorate on February 18, 2021 to inform Ms. Wang to come to the procuratorate. After the family member said that she could not come, an officer from the Jinsong Police Station called and insisted she go to the procuratorate.
3. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuying Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xiuying was arrested by officers from the Xiaojingyu Police Station in the Wangbolin District on February 11, 2021, for clarifying the truth. Her home was ransacked. Her Dafa books, a computer and other items were taken away.
4. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Fu Lahua Arrested and Detained
Ms. Fu Lahua was followed by three plainclothes officers who entered her home on December 12, 2020. These people did not show any IDs and ransacked her home. They found an exercise media player, her Zhuan Falun, and a copy of Hong Yin II. Ms. Fu was arrested and taken to the Linzhou Police Department for interrogation. After she was detained there for one day and two nights, she was taken to a detention house. She was detained there for nine days before she was released.
5. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Li Qihuai Arrested and Detained
Mr. Li Qihuai, in his 60s, lives in Lidadun Village, Xiaochi Town, Huangmei County. He was arrested at home by officers from the Xunyang District Police Department in Jiujiang City on February 19, 2021. He has been detained in the Yujiahe Detention House.
6. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhou Wei Harassed
Mr. Zhou Wei lives in Shuiquan Village, Shibajiazi Town, Changtu County. He received a harassment call from village official Li Changchun on February 19, 2021. He was later threatened by the director of the Shibajiazi Town Political and Legal Affairs Committee that he would be sent to a brainwashing center if he refused to sign the guarantee statement.
7. [Shenmu City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Chen Guangchang and His Wife Ms. Li Fanli Arrested
Mr. Chen Guangchang and his wife Ms. Li Fanli were arrested by officers from the Binhe New Village Police Station on the morning of February 18, 2021. They were later sent to the Shenmu City Detention Center. Two other practitioners including Mr. Gao Xiaoke and Mr. Wu Xiaojun were also detained in the same detention center.
After Ms. Li Fanli was arrested and interrogated for a few days, she had swollen legs and her hemoglobin was only about 3g. She was rejected by the detention center due to her poor health. Instead she was placed under residential surveillance. Her ID card and her cell phone were confiscated.
8. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Wenjie Harassed
Ms. Zhao Wenjie, 74, has suffered persecutions including forced labor before. She has been recently harassed.
Ms. Zhao’s daughter received a harassment call from the Qiaonan Community in Qianjin District asking for Ms. Zhao’s contact information. They also demanded that Ms. Zhao relocate her household registration. Her daughter refused all their demands.
Ms. Zhao received harassment phone calls from officers at the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of Heping Sub-district Office on December 21, 2020, and on December 31, 2020.
