(Minghui.org) I was arrested along with three other practitioners in July 2015 and our homes were ransacked. We were arrested because we had filed complaints against Jiang Zemin (former CCP head who initiated the persecution of Falun Dafa).

We were released after 14 days of detention. The next morning, two police officers arrived at my door pretending to be realtors. I was suspicious since I had heard this happened to many other practitioners.

They said they wanted me to go to the police station to pick up my things. I resisted, so two more officers were called in. I asked Master Li for help. The four of them carried me to the police car.

I continued to ask Master for help and began to send forth righteous thoughts. I also looked within for attachments.

At the police station, one officer asked, “Did you write the complaint against Jiang Zemin for Ms. so and so?” I remained quiet. He asked again. I did not answer but kept clarifying the truth to them.

I was given the transcript to sign after the questioning. I knew that the police often used transcripts as evidence to persecute practitioners, so I scrunched it into a ball and tossed it. They printed two more copies. One officer said, “You threw them away without reading them. Why don’t you read it first?!”

I quickly reviewed the transcript. Indeed, they did not lie; they were all my words. So I picked up the pen and wrote “void” at the space left for me to sign. I also wrote a large “Void” in the blank space on the second page.

Master told us long ago:

“No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil’s demands, orders, or what it instigates. If everyone does this the environment won’t be this way.” (“Dafa Disciples’ Righteous Thoughts are Powerful,” Essentials for Further Advancement II)

The officer was speechless and went to see the director. I asked Master for help and continued to send forth righteous thoughts.

When the officer returned, he said he would let me go if I just signed next to the “void.” I said, “No!” Frustrated, he said, “Then just go!”

I walked out of the police station with pride and thanked Master in my heart.

I feel that signing “void” is better than refusing to sign, since the police could fill in a blank space. I understand that practitioners must have righteous thoughts and act righteously at all times when dealing with the police.
