1. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Zhangqing, His Wife and Son Imprisoned

Mr. Xu Zhangqing, a civil servant in Xinpu Town, Xiaonan District, his wife Ms. Tu Ailian, and their son Mr. Xu Gaorui were taken away from home. Mr. Xu and his son were taken to the No. 4 Ward and No. 3 Ward of Fanjiatai Prison in mid-May 2021. They were made to do forced labor.

Ms. Tu is being held in the Wuhan Women’s Prison.

All three were sentenced to over seven years in prison by the Anlu City Court on November 26, 2020.

2. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Lei Zhifen Held in Detention Center

Ms. Lei Zhifen was arrested on September 4, 2020, and it was not known where she was held. It was recently reported that she was held in the Banqiao Brainwashing Center.

3. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Guihua Faces Trial

Ms. Sun Guihua was scheduled to be tried by the Zhanqian District Court, Yingkou City, on September 22, 2021. The presiding judge is Zhao Dan.

Ms. Sun was reported to the police when she distributed Falun Gong materials at the Gaizhou farmers market at noon on September 3, 2020. She was arrested by officers from the Gaizhou City Domestic Security Division. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated two bags of printed materials.

The following afternoon, officers took her to the Gaizhou Red Cross Hospital for a physical examination. She was taken to the Gaizhou City Detention Center, which refused to admit her as she failed the required physical exam. Her family filled out paperwork at the police department to bail her out. She went home that night.

4. [Shanghai] Mr. Xu Jianxin Faces Trial

Mr. Xu Jianxin from the Minhang District was scheduled to be tried at the No. 2 Pujiang Court of Minhang District Court on the morning of September 22, 2021.

5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ren Haifei and Ms. Sun Zhongli Face Trial

Mr. Ren Haifei and Ms. Sun Zhongli were scheduled to be tried during the second hearing by the Ganjingzi District Court at 10 a.m. on September 23, 2021.

6. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Chunhong and Ms. Wei Arrested

Ms. Yang Chunhong from the Xintun Sub-district, Dongzhou District, was arrested by officers from the Xintun Police Station when she talked to people about Falun Gong at the Modi farmers market. Ms. Wei, in her 50s, was also arrested and taken to the police station. Further information is pending.

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Jianguo Harassed

Seven people from the Xingyuandao Police Station in Lubei District broke into Mr. Li Jianguo’s home on September 1, 2021. When they photographed his home, Mr. Li stopped them. Mr. Li and his wife clarified the truth to them. When they pressured him to sign the paperwork, he wrote, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good! Falun Dafa is Good!”

8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xue Yuchun Arrested

Ms. Xue Yuchun from Zhangbaowan Community, Changjiang Road Sub-district, Huangdao Development Zone, West Coast New Area, was arrested by officers from the Changjiang Road Police Station while talking to people about Falun Gong at a wholesale market on August 8, 2021.

She was held in the basement of the police station for over a month. She has been on a hunger strike.

9. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Two officers from the Yihezhuang Township Police Station went to the homes of Mr. Chang Hengchun, Ms. Liu Shulan, Ms. Zang Cuiqing, and Mr. Wang Zhanzong in the Changzhuang Village on September 3, 2021. They took photos and videos.

10. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ten people, including Gong Ning and others from the Working Group of the Sichuan Province Political and Legal Affairs Committee, deputy Party secretary of Lizhou Town, and town government staff, went to Ms. Luo Hongmin’s home in Guilin Village in Lizhou Town on September 4, 2021. They pressured her to sign guarantee statements renouncing Falun Gong. When she refused they grabbed her hand to fingerprint the sheet.

On September 4, someone called Ms. Wu Demei’s family and said that people would be visiting her the following day. This person also threatened that if she did not cooperate, her family members would be fired from their workplaces and her children would not be able to go to school or serve in the military.

On September 5, eight people, including staff from the provincial political and legal affairs committee working group and local town and village officials, went to Ms. Wu’s home and pressured her to fingerprint paperwork. They pressured her son to sign the paperwork.

Ms. Yang Peixiu from Langhuan Township was also forced to press her fingerprints on three statements by several people.

11. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed

Two officers from the Matou Town Police Station went to the homes of Ms. Wu Yuhua, Ms. Sun Shaoyan, Ms. Feng Lan, Ms. Yang Yafen, and Ms. Liu Shuqin on September 1, 2021. They took photos and videos.

12. [Chongqing] Ms. Duan Zaiying Faces Trial

Ms. Duan Zaiying from the Banan District was reported to the police when she talked to people about Falun Gong on the morning of April 29, 2021. She was arrested and her home was ransacked by officers from the Banan District Domestic Security Division and the Longzhouwan Police Station.

Ms. Duan has been held in the Banan District Detention Center for over four months. She was officially placed under arrest by the Banan District Procuratorate in July. Her case was turned over to the Jiulongpo District Procuratorate. She may be tried soon.

13. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Changrong Harassed

Personnel from the Nanjin Community in Tianpeng Town and the Pengzhou City “Caring Center” went to Ms. Zhang Changrong’s home to coerce and coax her into signing the paperwork on September 6, 2021. Ms. Zhang resisted the pressure with righteous thoughts.

14. [Huili County, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

From September 9 - 12, 2021, members of the Sichuan Province Political and Legal Working Group and personnel from various community management offices went to Ms. Luo Jiping’s home several times. They pressured her to sign three statements and transform, and told her not to go out to distribute Falun Gong materials.

Zhou Guoshun, Xu Shikai, Gu Mingcong, Wu Chenghua, Dong Jiahe, and Sheng Chaozhu’s son were also repeatedly harassed. They were pressured to sign three statements and be transformed. All of them refused.

15. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Over 20 officers, including Song Jiaxi from the Xindu District State Security Division, went to the home of Mr. Zhu Zhenxue and his wife Ms. Wang Jizhu in the Shenzhuang area on the morning of September 11, 2021. They arrested the couple and ransacked the place. The couple was released around noon.

Mr. Zhang Baozhong and his wife Ms. Yang Qinghua were also arrested and their home was ransacked. Their whereabouts are unknown.

16. [Beijing] Mr. Gao Haixiang Harassed

Mr. Gao Haixiang lives in the Changping District. On September 2, 2021, his family members received a call from a community management staff member. The staff member notified the family that during the Beijing Service and Trade Fair, which was held September 2-7, Mr. Gao was required to use the social media app WeChat to report to the community management office as soon as he got home from work every day. This effectively placed him under surveillance.

17. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Zhihui Officially Arrested

Mr. Zhang Zhihui, 55, a proprietor in Huangchuan County, was arrested by officers led by Luo Gang, head of the Huangchuan County Domestic Security Division, and the director of the Longgu Township Police Station, while he was driving in the township on July 20, 2021. He was officially placed under arrest by the Huangchuan County Procuratorate.

18. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xiufeng and Mr. Zhu Hongwen Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiufeng from Jigezhuang Village, Buzidian Town, was arrested at home and taken to the Zunhua City Detention Center by officers from the Zunhua City Domestic Security Division and the local police station, as well as armed officers, on September 2, 2021. The officers confiscated her Falun Gong books and small music players. Mr. Zhu Hongwen from Nanxiaozhuang Village was also arrested at the same time. The officers confiscated eight Falun Gong books, music players, and DVDs. The two practitioners were released on September 12.

19. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Huiru and Her Husband Arrested

Five officers from the Xinhe Police Station forcibly broke the door lock on Ms. Yang Huiru’s home on September 6, 2021. They broke in, handcuffed Ms. Yang and her non-practitioner husband, and took the couple to the police station. Her husband was released but her whereabouts are unknown.

20. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Xiaoping and Ms. Wang Juxiang Harassed

Residential officer Hao Weilei from the Yuhuangge North Street Police Station and other people recently went to the homes of Ms. Zhang Xiaoping’s son, her parents and her older brother to harass and intimidate them.

In late June 2021, Zhang Yi, political head of the police station, Guan Libin from the community management office, and three other people also harassed Ms. Zhang’s son at his home.

Officers arrested Ms. Wang Juxiang’s non-practitioner son on April 12, 2021, and told her family to pay 30,000 yuan in exchange for his release. That day, Ms. Wang’s family barely came up with the 30,000 yuan and brought it to the police station before they released her son. The police arrested her son on the grounds that Ms. Wang told others about Falun Gong.

21. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yang Feng from Qihe County was arrested at home by officers from the Qihe County Domestic Security Division on April 7, 2021. The officers confiscated books and two laptops. He was taken to the Dezhou City Detention Center and was officially placed under arrest a month later.

Mr. Yang was previously arrested, taken to brainwashing centers, held in forced labor camps, and sentenced to prison.

The Qihe County police also arrested Mr. Wang Cheng, who was in his 50s, on April 30. Further details are not available.

22. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Linyi City Political and Legal Affairs Committee and Yishui County Political and Legal Affairs Committee personnel recently went to Ms. Yang Mingling’s home in Jiangjiaguanzhuang Village, Zhuge Town. Ms. Yang was not at home, so they coerced her daughter and husband into attending brainwashing classes on her behalf.

On August 20, Party secretary Lu Fengkui of the Xiagu Village located Ms. Ding Qin, who was taking care of the elderly at her parents’ home. They tried to force her to say she stopped practicing Falun Gong while they recorded a video of her.

Hu Fanjun, from the town political and legal affairs committee, led Huang Baohui and other people to Ms. Li Jinling’s home on August 28. Ms. Li was not at home. These people then went to her parent's home and harassed and intimidated her mother.

On the morning of September 4, officer Xu Xingquan and other people went to the Donghexi Village and pressured Ms. Cai Yongshu to sign three statements and videotape her.

On September 6, Ms. Cai went to the brainwashing center under pressure by the Donghexi Village Party secretary. On September 7, she disappeared. People arrived in the two vehicles and staked outside her home. On September 8, Chen Zongxue from the comprehensive management office and four other people coerced Ms. Cai’s husband Mr. Wang Dechun to look for Ms. Cai in Ms. Li Jinling’s home. Ms. Li was not at home, and these people then went to Ms. Li’s grandfather’s home for harassment.
