A Shoemaker Kneels When He Was Handed “The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” Booklet

(Minghui.org) I have come across many amazing incidences when clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to people. It makes me happy when sentient beings have understood the truth. 

Five Thousand Yuan

I went to the bank to get some money so I could pay the worker who was installing a heater in my home in the winter of 2004. I didn’t count the money immediately and put them in my wardrobe after I got home. The installation was completed four days later. When I was paying the worker, I found that the bank clerk had overpaid me by 5,000 yuan. I had to give it back to her. She must be worrying about it. 

It had snowed for several days. The street was slippery. I was not able to ride a bike. Therefore, I walked to a practitioner’s shop and asked her to walk with me to the bank. There were some people playing cards in her shop. I explained to them what I was going to do. They got excited. Some people said that Falun Dafa practitioners were so good. Some people said that they had never heard of something like that, and they themselves would not return the money to the bank clerk. 

I told them that I practiced Falun Dafa, and would follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I returned the money to the bank clerk. She was very thankful and wanted to give me a gift. I didn’t accept it. I said to her, “You should thank Falun Dafa’s Master Li Hongzhi. He teaches us to be good people.”

Kneeling While Accepting the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party

I went to a market in Beijing to clarify the truth during the Olympic Games in 2008. I stopped at a shoe repair stall. A man in a suit in his 40s was sitting in front of the stall. 

I gave a booklet of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to him. He got anxious and said, “I just finished a meeting about this, and you dare to still distribute it?”

Before I replied, the shoemaker saw the booklet and said earnestly, “I want to read it. It is very good and full of facts. I like to read it very much. Somebody else took my copy.” He put down his work and knelt down to take the booklet. He said, “I wish you safety and peace.”

I realized that he was disabled and had only one leg. That gentleman and I were shocked. I said to that gentleman with tears in my eyes, “Please read this booklet. It tells the truth.” He said, “I know Falun Dafa is good. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is deplorable.” He accepted the booklet and quit his membership in the CCP. He and the shoemaker repeatedly told me to be careful and remain safe. 

A Deaf Man Helped Distribute Truth-Clarification Materials

I went to a market to clarify the truth to people during the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. When I was talking to a seller in his vegetable store, I nearly knocked down a person beside me when I stood up. 

He was an elderly man with a hunchback. I thought we must be predestined to meet. I handed an amulet to him. He accepted it and murmured, “Ah, Ah” with excitement. He tried to open the package with one hand rubbing the pack upon his other hand. I then realized that he was deaf. 

I opened the package for him and told him, “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He seemed to already know this. He put the amulet on his neck and became very excited. He held his amulet before turning around to let people see what he got. He grabbed some pamphlets, DVDs, and amulets from me and gave them to people. Many people came to ask for it. All my materials were quickly gone. 

Many people who knew him said that he looked very happy as if he was celebrating the New Year. He felt a sense of loss when he saw my bag was empty but also felt like he had completed his task. He left without looking back at the crowd. 

This happened so quickly. I didn’t even have the time to ask people to quit the CCP. Two ladies asked me if I was a relative of the deaf man. I told them that I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and clarified the truth to them. Both of them agreed to withdraw their membership from the CCP. 

He Is Blessed

One day I was clarifying the truth to a seller in a market. He was excited and said that he knew Falun Dafa is good. He showed me the amulet he had on his key ring and said, “You see I have it with me every day. I suffered from cerebral thrombosis for several years and couldn’t go out. One day I found a booklet outside my door. I read it and found it to be very interesting. All the stories in the booklet told people to be good and kind. Many stories were about people becoming healthy after repeating Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. So I started to say it at home. Gradually my health improved and I recovered.”

He was very excited and continued, “I asked my children to come home and notice my health and asked them to quit their membership in the CCP. I asked them to say, ‘Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ every day. You see I can go to different markets to sell vegetables now.”

He gave me some vegetables and insisted that I take them home. He said, “I am very thankful to Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa’s Master. You people are so good.”

I told him to let more people know his story so that they could also benefit.

Outspoken Seller

One customer asked the seller in a stall of dry goods which shrimp was good. He said, “You taste it yourself. Don’t believe what people say nowadays.” He spoke frankly. I gave him a copy of The Ultimate Goal of Communism and said, “Please read it.”

“Are you a Falun Dafa practitioner,” he asked, “Falun Dafa brochures are very good. I like to read them very much. They tell the truth. Last year I was in a market and someone gave me a couplet which read ‘Remember Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Kind People Will Be Blessed.’ I put it on my door. My neighbor said how dare I put it up. I told her why not. I admire Falun Dafa practitioners. They dare to speak the truth. Nowadays people of all backgrounds dare not speak the truth. I never watch television (TV). No one on TV speaks the truth. The weather forecast staff wants to speak the truth, but they dare not. I only watch the Animal World program.” I asked him to withdraw his membership from the CCP. He said he quit it a long time ago. I felt very happy for him. 

Beggar Asking for Truth-Clarification Materials

I visited a market once. A teenager beggar followed me wherever I went. It was winter. He wore a torn coat and short pants. His shoes were broken with his toes exposed. He looked dirty. 

I walked faster. He also followed faster. I tried to mingle with the crowd but he appeared before me from nowhere. I shouted at him, “Why are you following me?” He stretched out his hand to me with pity. I said to Master in my heart that I was wrong. He asked for truth-clarification materials. But what should I give him? Could he understand? I gave him a booklet. He accepted it and reached out his hand again. I gave him a DVD entitled “Now and For the Future”. He accepted it and ran away. Actually, everyone came to this world from a higher level. Sentient beings are waiting to be saved.
