(Minghui.org) I visited a local fair to clarify the truth on September 8, 2020. As soon as I started handing out Dafa-related brochures, a tall man suddenly walked up to me and shouted, “What are you doing?” I answered, “I'm handing out brochures to save people. Would you like one, too?”
He then grabbed my arm and demanded that I go with him. The more I struggled to break free, the tighter he gripped my arm. “Okay, so you refuse to come with me peacefully?” he yelled. “No problem. I'll call for backup and when they arrive, I'll tie you up and then you won't have any say in the matter!”
I silently asked Master to help me and firmly believed that only His arrangement counted.
Some people stopped to ask what was going on. One woman said: “It looks like she's a Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) practitioner!”
I was afraid that she'd start slandering Falun Dafa, so I quickly shouted: “Falun Gong is being framed!” I then turned to the man who was grasping my arm and added, “And the sad part is that you don't know it's being framed!”
I continued, “Why do you dare to hold me against my will? It's such an evil thing to do! Do you have children? Don't you want to accumulate virtue so that their futures will be blessed? Falun Gong teaches people to be good and kind, and to act in accordance with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” He replied, “That's none of my business!”
I said, “Let me say something that you can definitely understand: Falun Gong makes people healthy. This has saved a tremendous amount of money for our country. People who are cultivating Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good people.”
I looked up at his face, and added: “You look like an upright person, so why are you detaining me? How will this benefit your life?” He did not answer.
Seeing that more and more people were gathering around, I quickly turned my wrist so that I was in a position to grab his arm and said, “I can’t follow you, but you should follow me! Let’s go!” I silently said to him, “Follow me. It'll result in a good outcome for both of us and you'll finally understand the truth!”
He asked, “Where are we going?” I said, “Let's go to my home, which is straight ahead.” As I was pulling him along, I began telling him about Falun Gong.
I asked: “The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was founded on the ideological foundation of Marxism in 1921, right?” He replied, “Yes.” I continued, “The first sentence of ‘The Communist Manifesto’ is, ‘A specter is haunting Europe—the specter of communism.’ What is a specter? It's a ghost, a monster, right? We Chinese all know that ghosts are not humans and monsters are evil, right?”
Just then, I felt a shudder go through his whole body. “This specter has been haunting China for decades,” I explained, “and has launched numerous political movements that have resulted in the deaths of over 80 million Chinese people. The Cultural Revolution completely destroyed traditional Chinese culture and morality in China. Our country used to value spirituality and always held firm to a strict moral code.
“However, due to the CCP's influence, Chinese people have lost their sense of morality. It's exactly why we are looked down upon by foreign countries.” The man nodded.
I then said, “Not only does the Party fight with heaven, earth, and all of the gods above, it's also persecuting Falun Buddha Fa, which advocates Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!
“China has existed for over 5,000 years without the Communist Party. It obviously doesn't need the CCP to survive! The Chinese of old forged a vibrant and brilliant culture, which has enriched the lives and well being of all human beings.
“Since communism was forced upon the Chinese people, China has experienced one disaster after another. Many nations are stronger and wealthier than China, but none of their leaders would dare to proclaim that if it wasn't for them, for their leadership, the people would starve to death! Only the evil CCP dares to say such nonsense!”
The man kept nodding his head in agreement. I told him, “Today, there are over 5,000 Swiss bank accounts that belong to high-ranking CCP officials, and their family members. These officials want to get their money out of China, as quickly as possible. Many of them have permanent residences in different countries. Do you really think these officials care about serving the common people of China?” The man then let out a big sigh.
“At present, over 100 million people around the world are practicing Falun Gong,” I explained. “In many countries, from presidents to common folk, all know that Falun Dafa is good. A large number of Falun Gong practitioners are doctors, lawyers, professors, and scientists.
“The founder of Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi, has received over 3,000 awards from high-ranking officials, around the globe. They all praise Master Li for bringing his teachings of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to the world. Actually, everyone needs these teachings, including you!”
He then said, “I have a friend who went to Beijing to stand up for people's right to practice Falun Gong. He was arrested then later tortured. I have no idea why he put himself through so much grief, just to practice Falun Gong!”
I answered, “The reason he did that was because he's a good person. He suffered in the hope of saving you and all sentient beings. Former CCP leader Jiang Zemin was the culprit behind the so-called Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident. He used this staged event to incite outrage and hatred towards Falun Gong.
“He also was behind the 1,400 forged, fake, death certificates, which were used by Chinese authorities to prove that the practice of Falun Gong has led to more than 1,400 deaths of followers, which of course is not true!
“However, Falun Gong is the Buddha Law! Thus, whoever slanders Buddha Law will incur countless, enormous sins. While Jiang is trying to drag you down to hell, Falun Gong practitioners are trying to save you!”
He then released his grip on my arm and said, “You are so kind and what you said makes perfect sense!” I then asked him to show me his palm, which I then compared to mine. He exclaimed, “Your palm looks so young and healthy!”
I replied, “This is the difference between cultivators and everyday people. Cultivators have peaceful minds and relaxed natures, thus we are healthy and don't need to take medicine. I've never taken a pill or any kind of medication after I began the practice.”
I then asked him if he had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He gave me a very vague answer, then invited me to visit his home. When I told him that I needed to go work, he said: “If we meet again, please tell me more about the practice.”
As I handed him a brochure, he looked around quickly and then put it in his pocket. “I can’t let anyone see this!” he exclaimed. I truly wished that he had quit the CCP before he left, but hopefully he gets another opportunity in the future.
On my way to work, I greeted an elderly man then handed him an amulet, saying: “Sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' and you will forever be protected.” He happily accepted the amulet then solemnly covered it with his hands.
I talked to him about the Quit the CCP Movement, and about a gigantic 270 million-year-old stone that was discovered in Guizhou, China, back in 2002. “A crack that formed 500 years ago in this large stone revealed six easily discernible Chinese characters; the characters clearly spell 'The Chinese Communist Party perishes,'” I explained.
“The Chinese character 'perish' is especially large. However, when China's state-run media reported this news, they hid the word 'perish' and only mentioned the words 'The Chinese Communist Party.'”
I also said, “Catastrophes only occur in society when human morality declines, or in other words, when mankind betrays Heaven.” When I talked about the true nature of the CCP, and why quitting the Party was so important, he said, “The CCP is so evil!”
He then asked me to help him quit the Party, using his real name. When we were done, he put his hands together, and sincerely said, “Thank you kindly! Today, I have met my savior!”
I quickly corrected him, saying: “You should thank Master Li instead! It's our Master who saved you, not me!”
He then raised his pressed hands and solemnly said, “Thank you Dafa Master Li Hongzhi for saving my life!” I was surprised that he knew Master's last name!
Through all of the above experiences, I enlightened to the fact that sentient beings are eager to be saved.
Since there's not much time left, we should sincerely strive to live up to Master’s expectations. Only by doing this can we hope to save more beings!
