1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Tong Hengbiao and Mr. Liu Enxi Persecuted in Prison
Mr. Tong Hengbiao, around 58, is detained in No. 13 Ward of Hulan Prison. He called out “Heaven will eliminate the CCP” on December 28, 2020 while doing forced labor and was put into a solitary confinement cell for the fourth time.
Mr. Liu Enxi, 71, was detained in Daqing Detention Center on November 9, 2018. During his detention, he was tortured, put in shackles and hung up for 48 days. He was not allowed to go to the restroom. The inmates were instigated to mistreat him. Now he is detained in the ward that holds old, weak and ill inmates.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Song Liang Faces Trial
Mr. Song Liang will be tried in the Kuancheng District Court on January 13, 2021. Mr. Song’s wife Ms. Yao Yuyan was arrested but managed to escape. Mr. Song suffered police retaliation and was used to fulfill their quota. Mr. Song now suffers from high blood pressure.
3. [Chongqing] Ms. Han Weifang and Mr. Wang Daiqing Face Trial
Mr. Wang Daiqing and Ms. Han Weifang were arrested in Chongqing by officers from Zhoukou City and Shangsui County of Henan Province. Ms. Yuan Rong and Yu Hong from Chongqing were arrested in October 2020. Yu Hong was detained in Chongqing Detention Center. Ms. Han Weifang, Mr. Wang Daiqing and Ms. Yuan Rong have been detained in the Zhoukou City Detention Center till today.
Ms. Han Weifang and Mr. Wang Daiqing were scheduled to be tried in Zhoukou City Intermediate Court on the morning of January 14, 2021.
4. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Persecuted
Ms. Zhao Meiyu lives in Hongguang Farm, Baiyilaga Township of Qianguo County. She was arrested by officers from the township police station on December 11, 2020 and was detained for 10 days.
Mr. Liu Xuanzhong is Ms. Zhao Meiyu’s husband. He went to Qianguo County Detention House to pick up his wife on December 21, 2020. He did not see his wife. Instead he was arrested by officers from the Jilatu Township Police Station, who were waiting for him. He was taken to the Qiangguo County Police Department for interrogation. He was subjected to a ten-day detention in the Guaibedian Detention House and was released on December 31, 2020.
Mr. Tang Xifu lives in Hongguang Farm, Baiyilaga Township of Qianguo County. He was arrested by officers from Wangfu Town Police Station on December 17, 2020. His home was ransacked. His Dafa books and the photo of Falun Gong's founder were taken away. He was subjected to a ten-day detention in the Guaibedian Detention House and was released on January 2, 2021.
5. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Guihua Passed Away Due To Persecution
Ms. Wang Guihua from the Jiangbei District was arrested and detained for one month for appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing. She was arrested on April 19, 2005 for distributing truth-clarifying materials and was subjected to two years of forced labor. She suffered mistreatment in the forced labor camp and was persecuted to the point where her life was in danger. She was later released on medical parole. She never recuperated and passed away on October 29, 2020.
6. [Qian'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Shuzhi Harassed Repeatedly
Ms. Zhou Shuzhi was arrested on June 16, 2020 for clarifying the truth and was released on bail around 4 p.m. that day.
She was ordered to go to the police department on August 25, 2020. She did not go, but instead left home. When the police came to her home to deliver the notice on August 27, 2020 Ms. Zhou left her home again. Ms. Zhou was found and forcibly taken to the Procuratorate by three officers including Li Jian and Xu Lihua from the domestic security division on August 31, 2020. She was ordered to sign the paper, but she refused. She was let go that day but has been under surveillance since then. She was taken to the Songyuan City Procuratorate by officer Li Jian on September 1, 2020. She was released later that day. Now Ms. Zhou has left her home and goes from place to place. She has no money.
7. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Pan Xujun Persecuted in Prison
Mr. Pan Xujun was arrested on May 19, 2015 and was later sentenced to five and a half years in prison. He was supposed to be released in November 2020 but he is still detained in Hongzehu Prison.
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shuxiang Arrested
Ms. Li Shuxiang from Weichang District was arrested and taken to the Beiguan Police Station on January 11, 2021. She was taken to Changyi on January 12, 2021.
9. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Song Liqin Taken to Prison
Ms. Song Liqin from Daqing City was taken to Harbin Women’s Prison on December 31, 2020.
10. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Nan Xubing Harassed
Ms. Nan Xubing was ordered to go to the Chaicun Police Station in Jiancaoping District by officer Rong Ruyi in December 2020. She was coerced to write the three statements there.
11. [Fuping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Junxiu and Her Daughter Harassed
Ms. Zhang Junxiu from Chengxiang Village was subjected to three detentions, one year of forced labor and one brainwashing stint. Her husband is the deputy of the village Party committee.
Her husband received a harassment call from the Fuping County Political and Legal Affairs Committee in September 2020. He was pressured to make his wife and daughter give up practicing Falun Gong.
Ms. Zhang Junxiu was harassed at home on the morning of January 6, 2021. People from Fuping County Political and Legal Affairs Committee came to her home. After Ms. Zhang Junxiu and her daughter refused them, her husband picked up a kitchen knife and threatened to commit suicide. Ms. Zhang did not give in. Her husband forced Ms. Zhang and their daughter to leave home. The mother and daughter had to take shelter at the neighbor’s house temporarily.
