(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in two locations in New Jersey, Asbury Park and Point Pleasant Beach, on September 7. Many people strolled along the boardwalks of these popular tourist attractions and saw the practitioners' displays.
Falun Dafa practitioners in yellow T-shirts demonstrated the exercises, told people about the spiritual practice and exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. They advised people to stay away from the CCP and pointed out that the CCP’s cover-up of the coronavirus epidemic in China led to the global pandemic.
Tourists Learn About Falun Dafa

Due to the lovely weather, both locations were crowded and hundreds of tourists passed the spot where practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Many people stopped to watch them and read the posters. Some asked for more information.
A young woman was interested in Falun Dafa and learned the exercises. She did the sitting meditation with both her legs crossed. She said excitedly that she wanted to know more about Falun Dafa and would continue practicing.
Several tourists learn about Falun Dafa.
One man stopped and watched the exercise demonstration for a long time. He asked why the CCP persecuted Falun Dafa, how many people died in China from the coronavirus, and whether the CCP intentionally released the virus.
A practitioner answered his questions and told him about the CCP’s state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living practitioners for lucrative profit. The man was shocked and took a photo of the special edition about the live organ harvesting.
Three young people paused to read the posters. One girl was appalled to read about the CCP’s organ harvesting. She took photos with her smart phone and said she would post them on her social media. They talked with a practitioner and accepted fliers and folded paper lotus flowers.
A woman and her friend stopped in front of the posters and carefully read them. They were surprised to learn that Falun Dafa is practiced in nearly 100 countries but is persecuted in its country of origin, China. They condemned the persecution. They said they liked the slow-moving exercises and decided to learn them on the spot. They accepted fliers in Spanish and said they would read the Falun Dafa books, which are available online in Spanish.
Some tourists tried to give practitioners donations. The practitioners told them that they did not accept money and asked them to instead let their friends and families know about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Several people gave them a thumbs up and took photos.
People Sign the Petition and Reject the CCP
Many tourists signed the petition against the CCP and said they supported the practitioners’ event. A man signed the petition and chatted with practitioners. He said that the speed with which the coronavirus spread was scary. He felt there was a horrible agenda behind it.
When Chris and Ellen noticed the practitioners’ event, they were curious and asked the practitioners several questions. A practitioner explained about Falun Dafa and how the CCP is persecuting it They signed the petition and accepted lotus flowers and fliers.
