(Minghui.org) About five minutes after Mr. Sun Li arrived at a fellow Falun Gong practitioner’s home on May 31, 2020, a group of officers broke in and arrested him. His private vehicle was also confiscated. It’s reported that the police had been following Mr. Sun for six months before arresting him.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Prior to his latest arrest, Mr. Sun, a Tangshan City, Hebei Province resident, was given one year of forced labor in 2010 for raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong.
He was arrested again on May 7, 2017 after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. The Yutian County Court sentenced him to 14 months on January 24, 2018. His employer, the Tangshan Steel Group, also fired him.
