Many people have responded positively, saying things such as, “You practitioners are all good people.” “What we read in your materials is true.” “Your Master is great!”
People have also asked me for the Dafa books.
Rescued from the Sea of Bitterness
Life was hard growing up in a small village in the mountains, and I came down with many illnesses.
After I got married my husband cursed at me and often beat me. My heart was full of resentment and hatred. I tried to commit suicide several times. In the end I took a job as a maid in another city and left behind my young children. I have been a housemaid for the past 20 years.
I came across Falun Dafa in 2006. Master saved me from the sea of bitterness, and I gained new insight into life.
I used to have an eye infection and could barely see. On my way home from the hospital, a lay Buddhist encouraged me to learn the Buddhist teachings in a temple, saying that I would be cured. As long as someone could cure my eyesight I was willing to follow them, so I became a lay Buddhist. But my eyesight didn’t improve after studying the Buddhist teachings for several months.
A Falun Dafa practitioner was telling people about Falun Dafa in the hospital and introduced Dafa to me. I was excited and I wanted to learn it.
He told me to recite the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and my health would improve. So I repeated those words every day but my eyes didn’t improve much after 20 days.
When I asked a practitioner why it didn’t work, he asked me if I also believed in other teachings. I told him that I did, and he said that nothing would work if I practice more than one teaching.
I had a Buddhist robe, which I returned to the temple. I got rid of my Buddhist teachings and started to read Zhuan Falun the main text of Falun Dafa.
My fate changed after that. All my illnesses disappeared after six months. My eye disease was cured. My body felt light, and my perspective of life changed.
My gratitude to Master and Falun Dafa is beyond words.
Working as a Housemaid
Regardless of which family I worked for as a housemaid, I always told them that I practiced Falun Dafa before I started the job and that I followed the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” in my daily life.
I was hired by a doctor to take care of his mother. He told me that his mother was bossy and asked me to not take her words to heart.
His mother always cursed at me when she had nothing to do. She purposefully wronged me and found fault with me. However, I always smiled and treated her kindly, and took good care of her.
Her son and daughter-in-law worried that I would quit the job because of their mother's attitude, and they comforted me constantly.
I took the opportunity to tell them about Falun Dafa, and they agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and reminded me to be careful. I stayed with them until the mother passed away.
My xinxing improved a lot during those two years, and I gained a new understanding of what Master said:

I later became a housemaid for the family of the local deputy director of the county police department. I told him at the outset that I practiced Falun Dafa, and clarified the truth to him. I suggested that he not get involved in persecuting practitioners and that doing good will be rewarded and doing bad will be punished.
He was very kind. He put a desk in my bedroom and said that I could study the Fa in my room.
I was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Dafa and was held in the county detention center. The deputy director came to the detention center and told the officials there about me, and said that practitioners were all good people. I was released eleven days later.
Waiting to Be Saved
The practitioners around me went out to clarify the truth to people every day. I thought that I should do the same, but was fearful because I had been detained before.
It took me a while to break through this, but I now go out every day to distribute truth-clarification materials and talk to people face-to-face.
When I went to a village some miles away, I told people there about the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa, and how the CCP persecutes practitioners. Most of them accepted my words and quit the Party.
One man asked me, “I've read your materials. They're really good. Can you please get me a copy of Zhuan Falun?”
I went back to the village many times but always forgot to take the book. Last year, however, I remembered and gave him the Zhuan Falun book. I told him to read it from cover to cover. He was very pleased.
One person told me that he had read the booklet Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and agreed that all the information in it was true. His family was persecuted by the CCP during one of its political campaigns. He said that he knew clearly how evil the CCP was and said that it would be eliminated one day for its wrongdoings. He said he hoped that practitioners would tell more people about the evil nature of the Party.
One day, I came across a man who said to me, “I want to read one of your Dafa books. I have read many materials, and have quit the CCP. Your pamphlets and booklets are well written and very good. Do you need money? You need money to make these materials. I want to support you.”
“Thank you very much.” I replied, “You are indeed remarkable that you want to support Falun Dafa. You will have a bright future.”
I chatted with another man one time and told him about Falun Dafa and why it was important to quit the CCP. He listened attentively and agreed to quit. He accepted the materials and the Nine Commentaries booklet. He said that he was from the countryside and worked in the city. It was nearly lunchtime, and he invited me to his home to have lunch.
Master has brought predestined people to me.
As I obtained the Fa late, Master helps me establish my mighty virtue, and has laid a path to Heaven for me.
