Missouri: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day
(Minghui.org) Practitioners of Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) in Missouri celebrated May 13 World Falun Dafa Day, and Master Li Hongzhi’s birthday.
Ms. Kang has been practicing Falun Gong since 1997. She said, “I have celebrated this special day with my fellow practitioners around the world every year. Due to the pandemic, we can’t hold a large celebration as we used to, but we would like to express the same gratitude to Master.”
Ms. Kang said that Falun Dafa had unveiled the meaning of life to her. She treasures this opportunity to cultivate. No words can describe her gratitude. “I found a few Udumbara flowers on my grapevine last month (the legendary Udumbara flower is said to appear only once every 3,000 years and is a divine sign). Three weeks have gone by and they are still blooming. I feel that they are an encouragement Master has given me. They remind me not to slack off, but to stay diligent in my cultivation as if I had just started.”
Mrs. Dong shared that she had been practicing Falun Gong since she attended Master’s lecture series in Zhengzhou in 1994. She is grateful that Master has been protecting her over the past 26 years.
She recovered from a serious cervical spondylosis a couple of months after she started practicing Falun Gong, and she has been healthy and energetic ever since. Although she is in her 60s, her vision is still as good as ever. Many have commented to her that she looks much younger than her age.
She would like to take this opportunity to thank Master for all he has done and wishes him a happy birthday.
