Canada: Elected Officials Mark the 28th Anniversary of Falun Dafa’s Public Introduction (III)
(Minghui.org) May 13, 2020, was the 21st annual World Falun Dafa Day and the 28th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. Canadian elected officials including Members of Parliament at the federal and provincial levels, mayors and city council members have issued proclamations or letters of support to commend Falun Dafa.
As of May 12, 2020, 80 officials sent letters or proclamations in support of Falun Dafa. They indicated that Canadians needs courage to stand together while facing the challenges imposed by COVID-19. Many have said that this public health crisis reminds people of the importance of Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

“Falun Dafa’s principles of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance have benefited millions of people around the world through its promotion of tolerance and harmony, values that all can inspire to.”
“Falun Dafa’s guiding principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance are ideals that strengthen communities of all belief systems,” Ontario MPP Suze Morrison stated in her letter.
“I am pleased that in Ontario you are free to practice your beliefs and share them with your fellow Ontarians.”
