(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in nine provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Xiuyun and Ms. Jiang Xueyan Facing Trial

The Linjiang City Court passed the cases of Ms. Gao Xiuyun and Ms. Jiang Xueyan's to the Jiangyuan County Procuratorate in January 2020.

Ms. Gao was released on bail pending trial. Ms. Jiang is still being held in the Baishan City Detention Center.

2. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Xia and Ms. Niu Yujie Detained

Ms. Wang Xia and Ms. Niu Yujie were arrested on March 17, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated computers, printers, paper bills which imprinted with Falun Gong messages, and books from Ms. Wang's home.

Both practitioners were taken to the Fuli Police Station, and transferred to the Shuangyashan Detention Center the next day.

3. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Xiaojing Detained

Ms. Sun Xiaojing was arrested by officers from the Xinglong Police Station on March 4, 2020, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Panjin City Detention Center the next day.

4. [Gongqingcheng City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Xing Hui Arrested

Mr. Xing Hui was arrested by officers from the Ganlu Police Station on March 11, 2020. His home was ransacked, and Falun Gong books were confiscated. He was later released.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Shumin and Ms. Yang Lixia Arrested

Ms. Wang Shumin was arrested in April 2019. Her case has been passed to the Ninghe Court.

Ms. Yang Lixia was arrested at home by officers from the Nankai District Police Station on March 2, 2020. They confiscated her Falun Gong books. She was released on bail pending trial, and has been monitored since then.

6. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Huo Guiqin Arrested

Ms. Huo Guiqin, in her 50s, was arrested by officers from the Dahuoquan Police Station on March 17, 2020, for posting informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She was released on bail pending trial.

7. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Hongzhen Arrested

Ms. Li Hongzhen, 72, was arrested by officers from the Taiping Police Station on March 17, 2020, for posting stickers with information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them. The police ransacked her home, and confiscated 40 Falun Gong books, and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. She was later released.

8. [Anguo City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xiao Xiangyu Detained

Mr. Xiao Xiangyu was arrested by officers from the Anguo Domestic Security Division on March 17, 2020. His home was ransacked. He is held in the Baoding Detention Center.

9. [Ningjin County, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Meizhu Arrested

Ms. Shi Meizhu, from Xihezhuang Village, Beihezhuang Town, was arrested at home by officers from Beihezhuang Police Station on March 23, 2020. The police confiscated informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

10. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xiumei Arrested

Ms. Gao Xiumei was arrested on March 18, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

11. [Gong’an County, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Jiagui Detained

Ms. Zhang Jiagui, 73, was arrested by officers from the Nanping Town Police Station on January 16, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained at the police station for five days.

12. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Ms. Miao Yingqun and Her Family Members Arrested

Ms. Miao Yingqun, her sister, and brother-in-law were arrested at home on March 23, 2020. Their homes were ransacked.

13. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Shuying Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shuying was arrested by officers from the Hujiazhuang Police Station on March 23, 2020, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Liao Hui, from the Wuchang District, was arrested by officers from the Baishazhou Police Station and Domestic Security Division on March 16, 2020. They confiscated informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, computers, and printers.
