(Minghui.org) For more than 20 years, clarifying the truth has been part of my daily routine. When the coronavirus began spreading and turned into a pandemic, I deeply felt the urgency of our responsibility to save people.
Master said:
“By making it to the present, and by partaking in saving sentient beings, you are blazing a path for yourself, establishing your own mighty virtue, and fulfilling your historic mission.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference” from Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XI)
Hurry Up and Save People
One afternoon during the Chinese New Year, I went out to talk to people but the streets were deserted. After I asked Master to help, I found an old lady who had difficulty walking. I approached her and she explained that she had twisted her ankle. I learned that she was 79 years old and had worked in the medical field.
We talked about the coronavirus and I told her that millions of Chinese had already withdrawn from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and its affiliated organizations. I explained that they did not wish to be held accountable for its crimes and felt that quitting the Party would keep them safe.
She said she'd joined the Communist Youth League. When I suggested a pseudonym she happily agreed to withdraw. I also told her that many people were sincerely saying, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good.” She said she was very happy that we met.
When my younger sister, who is a doctor, came to visit, we talked about the pandemic and how people could keep safe. She had already withdrawn from the CCP. She mentioned that her son recently quit the police department but had joined the Party. I urged her to tell him about withdrawing next time she saw him.
Two days later my sister drove her daughter-in-law home. When she returned, she told me that she talked to her son and he agreed to withdraw from the CCP. I was really happy for him and for my younger sister who helped him.
My mom is 83 years old and is also a Falun Dafa practitioner. She reads the teachings, does the exercises, and sends righteous thoughts every day. She also clarifies the truth and gives me lists of people she's helped withdraw from the Party, so I can post them online.
We often go out together to buy food and clarify the truth. One day she noticed an elderly lady sitting near the supermarket entrance. She told me she'd sit with her and have a chat whilst I went into the shop. When I came out she happily said that the lady had agreed to withdraw from the CCP’s organizations.
An Elderly Cadre Quits the CCP
When I go out to clarify the truth I often recite Master’s poem:
“Mercy can melt heaven and earth into springRighteous thought can save people of the world”(“Fa Rectifies the Cosmos” from Hong Yin, Vol. II (Translation Version B))
Master’s poem strengthens my righteous thoughts. One day I met a man on crutches. He was 65 years old and retired from the military. He said he'd recently gotten sick. When I asked whether he’d seen a doctor, he said that the treatment he’d been given was somewhat effective but not as good as he’d expected.
Seeing that he was really worried, I told him, “Many people feel blessed after sincerely saying, ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good.’ Millions of people have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”
He interrupted me and said, “I'm a CCP member. The Party always paid my salary and now gives me a pension. Why would I withdraw from it? You're against the CCP. Aren't you afraid that I'll report you to the police?”
I asked him to first listen to what I had to say. I explained that when he joined the Party he took an oath under the bloody red flag that he would fight for the CCP and even sacrifice his life. The average Chinese person cannot afford to go to the hospital, send their children to school, or buy a house. Yet CCP officials embezzle tens of millions of yuan and live in luxury. Do they care whether people live or die? He served in the military for decades and earned his pension. Should he give his life for the Party because of his pension? The CCP seized power in China and did countless evil deeds under its bloody red flag. I told him that when the CCP is held accountable, if he has quit, he'll be safe.
The old man kept nodding his head in agreement. He said, “That’s right! Now I understand. Please help me withdraw from the CCP.” I gave him a pseudonym. He was very happy and even his complexion looked better. When he kept thanking me, I told him to thank Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa.
Classmate Resumes Practicing
I always wanted to visit an old classmate of mine. When I finally went to her home, she said excitedly, “I really admire you! After so many years of being persecuted you still persist in practicing. You really are strong and amazing!”
I learned that she had attended Master's lectures in person. She had her photo taken with Master and he even signed her Dafa book, which she still had and cherished. However, because of the persecution, she was afraid to continue practicing but she still knew Dafa was good. I was happy for her but also felt sorry for her.
I told her many things about Falun Dafa and the CCP that she hadn’t heard. I helped her withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I urged her to resume practicing. I said, “Master arranged for me to see you.”
Before I left, I gave her some truth-clarifying materials. She was reluctant to see me leave and it seemed that she still had a lot to talk about. Finally she said, “I will resume practicing!” Her eyes were filled with tears as she said this.
Elderly Colleague Quits the CCP
I met a man who was over 80 years old. He had worked in the same factory as me but we didn’t know each other since it was a large building. I said, “We're old colleagues. Let's find a place to chat. I’m also retired. What's most important now? Of course, staying healthy and safe. Did you know that millions of Chinese have withdrawn from the CCP?”
When he said that he'd only joined the Young Pioneers, I told him about the persecution and how the CCP killed over 80 million Chinese citizens during its political movements.
The old man listened to me very seriously and agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. When I suggested the pseudonym “Lucky Star” he said, “It’s a good name!” I told him that sincerely saying, “Falun Dafa is good” can help him be safe in the current pandemic.
In addition to clarifying the truth face-to-face, I also make calls, distribute truth-clarifying materials, post stickers, etc.
Master said:
“You have made it through the most grueling, difficult period of time.
