(Minghui.org) I'm a retired teacher who began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. One night while I was distributing truth clarification materials in a village, I was abducted by the county's 610 Office. I later learned that a fellow practitioner from a remote town who came to my house was also implicated.
When members of the Municipal Law Commission interrogated me, and asked, “Do you still practice Falun Dafa?” I replied, “According to the Constitution's 'Freedom of Belief', I don't have to answer.” The person who asked me the question became so angry that he kept demanding, “Just tell me whether you practice it or not!” I sternly told them, “I have the right not to answer!” They couldn't do anything but write down what I said. Ten days later, they sentenced me to one and a half years in a labor camp, using the excuse that I had truth-clarification materials and that I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa.
I said to Master in my heart, “Master, I'm here to assimilate to Dafa and I don't accept the old forces' persecution. I must have gaps in my cultivation; that’s why I ended up here. No matter where I am, as long as I reach the standard of the Fa's principles, Master will guide me home!” When my thoughts became righteous the situation changed. I was released a few days later.
I had just returned home from a remote village when my wife’s nephew told me that the local school principal wanted me to write a guarantee statement (promising to stop practicing Falun Dafa). I went to the principal and clarified the truth to him. After we talked, he phoned the supervisor. The supervisor said, “Just write a sentence.” I understood but I refused to do it. I said, “I refuse to write anything.” He said, “According to the 610 Office orders, if you don’t write it you'll be sent to a brainwashing session!” I said, “I'll tell my relatives and friends that you are persecuting me.” The supervisor's tone softened and he said, “I cannot make the decision. You have to talk to the Education Bureau director!”
The principal and the director spent more than an hour pressuring me to write the sentence. I refused and said, “I'm a good person and I practice Falun Dafa. I follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I'm kind to my colleagues, superiors, villagers, and neighbors. Even though I'm a good person, I've been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) several times. My son has been denied a university education because I'm a practitioner. My personal experience proves that the CCP is an atheistic cult!” They had nothing to say and left.
Helping People Quit the CCP
Another practitioner and I went from house to house in a large village clarifying the truth and persuading people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We walked past a large store because it was very noisy. The other practitioner said, “Shouldn't we save these people?” I said, “All right, let’s go in there.” The building was very crowded. Some people were playing poker and others were playing mahjong. The other practitioner said to them, “We wish everyone blessings! We also wanted to tell you that millions of Chinese have already quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, so that they won't be implicated when the Party falls. We hope that all of you will be safe and withdraw from the CCP!”
He went to each table and offered to help people quit the CCP. I helped by sending forth righteous thoughts to clear out any interference. He helped several people quit the CCP. When he came to the group of people playing poker, one person pointed to a man in his 30s and said, “He's our village leader.” The practitioner smiled and said, “The village leader should also be safe!” So, the village leader also quit the CCP. Before we left, we helped 15 people quit the Party.
Righteous Thoughts Turn the Situation Around
One day four of us went to a local village to clarify the truth. When the other practitioner and I came to the village leader’s house, he said, “I'll report you and have you arrested.” We weren't afraid. Within three hours, we walked the entire village. Just as we came to a house, a police car quietly drove up behind us. One police officer shouted, “What are you doing?” The other practitioner continued knocking at the door and ignored them. I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear away the interference and said in my heart, “We are Falun Dafa practitioners and came to save people. No one has the right to persecute us!” At the same time, I asked Master for protection.
At that moment, the homeowner opened the door. We asked if she wanted a couplet with the word “Blessing.” After we talked, the other practitioner and I bypassed the police car and headed west, away from it. After a while, the police car turned around. It continued slowly following us, but then suddenly drove away. This was as Master said:
“Should you have fear, it will seize upon you If thoughts are righteous, evil will collapse” (“What’s to Fear?” Hong Yin Volume II)
When practitioners wholeheartedly save people, the old forces dare not touch us. The above is my personal experience. Thank you, Master!
