(Minghui.org) During Chinese New Year our city was placed on lock down due to the corona virus. I was visiting my relatives in my hometown in the countryside and was told to stay home.
Through online information, I learned that thousands of Chinese became infected and many died. I couldn't help but weep when I thought of how many people continue following the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and refuse to listen when we clarify the truth. I thought, “I'll do my best to save them.” I began to talk to my neighbors about Falun Dafa.
A villager came to me on New Year's Day. His son was preparing to take an exam and asked me for some guidance. I took the opportunity to tell him the facts about Dafa. He was very responsive, and quickly quit the CCP and its affiliates.
An elderly neighbor stopped me on the street and asked for a Falun Dafa book. I asked if he wanted Zhuan Falun . He said yes and asked if one can smoke or drink after one begins to practice. I told him that smoking and drinking are not good for anyone's health and one would stop in the course of doing the exercises. I told him of my father-in-law's experience, who quit smoking and drinking soon after he had begun to practice. He was very happy.
The virus quickly reached epidemic proportions. Many people in our town contracted it. We were told not to leave our homes. I asked my family members to say, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
During the new year holidays, my sister and her children came to our house. My wife and I reminded them to say, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I said, “You all supported my practicing Falun Dafa. I have been telling you that reciting 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' can bring you blessings. Now the epidemic is here. Saying these words can truly help us stay safe.” They followed my advice and said the words.
I take a walk in the field behind the village every morning and often meet some neighbors there. The hottest topic nowadays is the coronavirus. I always point out that it wouldn't have become so serious if the CCP hadn't tried to cover it up. People are very interested and receptive. I tell them about Falun Dafa and ask them to say, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
The people who've moved away from the village usually only visit for a few days during the New Year holiday. Due to the epidemic they are staying longer. This is a good opportunity for us practitioners to tell people about Falun Dafa. We should not let anything stop us from saving them.
