(Minghui.org) Our Fa-study group decided in 2015 to distribute Dafa flyers in the countryside.
We went in the evenings because many younger practitioners worked during the day. We had four drivers, who took us to different villages and towns. After reaching our destination, we divided ourselves into groups of two or three to distribute the flyers. There were no street lights in many of the villages, so sometimes we stumbled in the dark.
One night a dog kept barking. I walked to the gate and left a flyer inside it, and the barking stopped. We thought it was quite a wonder.
Another time a barking dog began to follow us. The dog's owner came out with a flashlight pointed at us and asked us what we were doing. I told him I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and suggested he read the flyer I handed him. He had no problem taking it.
One night I distributed flyers with two other practitioners when we passed and startled an elderly lady. When she asked what we were doing, I told her we were distributing flyers and hanging posters about Falun Dafa. I asked her to read the poster and also suggested that to stay healthy and have good fortune she could repeat the words Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. She was receptive to what we said and invited us in for tea. We were not finished with our work, so we kindly declined.
Sometimes we encountered interference. I was told one night that two practitioners were reported and taken away in a police car. We sent forth righteous thoughts and then drove in the direction the police car went. We found the practitioners walking down the road. Apparently they told the police the facts about Dafa and the police let them go.
Other practitioners and I later returned to that village. We were told about the two practitioners the police had picked up and were advised to leave. We said that we were there to debunk the Communist Party’s lies. They seemed to understand completely.
We went to the local store where the practitioners had been reported. Some people were there playing mahjong. We told them that we were there to tell them the truth about Dafa and say that they would not have reported those two if they had known it. They acknowledged that was true.
We found the boss—the one who’d called the police. He was just a young man. We spent a considerable amount of time convincing him that he should not have done that. We told him to remember that “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and he would be rewarded. He seemed convinced.
We appreciated the help of the practitioners that prepared the Dafa materials. On our way to the villages we would recite Hong Yin. Some practitioners saw immense, righteous deities protecting us.
Teacher Li has helped us resolve many dangers on our cultivation paths. Based on our belief in Teacher and Dafa, we have steadfastly overcome all our ordeals. We have visited all the villages and towns in the area. The whole area is now encompassed in a righteous energy field. We often encounter villagers who are friendly and say hello to us.
