(Minghui.org) The Bible records that the hypocritical Pharisees, despite their adherence to the commandments of Moses, disregarded the qualities of righteousness, kindness, courage, and faithfulness inherent in the law.

The Pharisees asked Jesus if they should pay taxes to Caesar. This tricky question was intended to trap Jesus in what he said, because a “no” answer would make him at odds with the Romans, and a “yes” answer would get him into trouble with the Jewish nationalists who wanted to topple the Romans. Jesus didn't fall into the trap and got them to show him a denarius (an ancient Roman silver coin) with which they paid taxes.

Jesus asked them whose head was printed on the coin, and when they answered Caesar, he said, “give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar – and to God what belongs to God.”

Many interpreted Jesus' saying as fulfilling duty to country, both in the human world and in the heavenly abode. In the 2020 election, however, the U.S. Supreme Court has failed to fulfill its duty to America and its duty to the divine as it rejected the Texas lawsuit against election fraud and refused to safeguard the Constitution-protected and God-given right to vote in a fair election.

President Trump commented: “The Supreme Court had ZERO interest in the merits of the greatest voter fraud ever perpetrated on the United States of America. All they were interested in is 'standing', which makes it very difficult for the President to present a case on the merits. 75,000,000 votes!”

Texas Lawsuit Dismissed Without Merit

In the 2020 election, Trump's legal battles have been repeatedly blocked by the deep state-held U.S. power structure at all levels. Media and technology giants ignored the public opinion of 75 million American voters. They bent on pushing the democratic party candidate to the presidency. The angry and frustrated American people pinned their hopes on the U.S. Supreme Court, only to see what was supposed to be the highest bastion of upholding the U.S. Constitution and defending the constitutional system, set a destructive precedent that runs counter to the values of American democracy and the rule of law.

On December 8, Texas Attorney General Paxton filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court, accusing the four swing states, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin, of exploiting the COVID-19 pandemic and compromising the security and integrity of elections by amending their election statutes either by executive orders or court decisions.

The lawsuit argued that only state legislatures have the authority to amending election rules, and it asked the Supreme Court to rule against counting the electoral votes in these four states and to have the four state legislatures appoint new electors.

Within two days, the Texas lawsuit quickly gained support from six states, which joined the lawsuit through a motion. Thirteen more states showed their support by filing an amicus brief. President Trump also intervened in the Texas lawsuit. As of December 11, one hundred and twenty-six members of Congress also signed an amicus brief, urging the high court to overturn the current election results.

This should have been a great opportunity for the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold justice, safeguard the U.S. Constitution, save America, and resist the communist invasion. On the evening of December 11, however, seven of the nine Supreme Court justices dismissed the Texas lawsuit on the grounds that Texas had not demonstrated a judicially identifiable interest in other state election issues and therefore lacked standing under the Constitution. But two conservative justices issued a separate statement and said they believed the Texas lawsuit should be accepted.

One netizen made an analogy: an arsonist in a neighborhood was maliciously setting a fire, which spread so fast that it endangered the entire apartment unit, the apartment building and the apartment complex. Someone in the building across the street called the local police station. Seven of the nine officers at the police station responded that in the matter of the arson, the caller had not demonstrated a judicially identifiable interest (because the fire was not currently burning the caller's home). Therefore, the caller lacked legal standing to call the police. He was then dismissed and police were not dispatched.

This is a true reflection of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on the Texas Lawsuit.

Giuliani: An Open Scar in Our History

The U.S. Supreme Court's ruling was very disappointing to many people. Texas Republican Party Chairman Allen West (R-Texas) issued a statement: “This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable. This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic. Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution.”

Some netizens commented that the U.S. Supreme Court has pushed the United States to the dangerous brink of national division. Texas was historically a Mexican territory, and in 1835, a revolution erupted in Texas because it believed that Mexico had violated the Constitution of 1824. In 1836, independence was officially declared and the Republic of Texas was established. In 1845, Texas chose to become the twenty-eighth state in the United States. Now that the U.S. election is unconstitutional and the Supreme Court is sitting on its hands, how will Texas feel?

After the Supreme Court’s decision, Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s lawyer, said in an interview with Newsmax on December 11: “The case wasn’t rejected on the merits, the case was rejected on standing.” “That’s a terrible, terrible mistake. These facts will remain an open sore in our history unless they don’t get resolved. They need to be heard, they need to be aired and somebody needs to make a decision on whether they’re true or false and some court’s going to have the courage to make that decision.”

President Trump tweeted in response to the Supreme Court's ruling: “This is a great and disgraceful miscarriage of justice. The people of the United States were cheated, and our country disgraced. Never even given our day in Court!”

The Socialists' “Fantasy Soccer”

Although the democratic party's candidate was busy with the transition to the White House, and many Congressmen and senators have congratulated him as the “President-elect,” the fact is, truth will ultimately be revealed and paper can't hold the fire.

Those who embraced Trump's opponent, whether they were deceived and confused, threatened or coerced, or they did so willingly, perhaps they did not fully understand the ultimate goal of communism. They fantasize about the freedom, liberation, equality, and prosperity promised by the evil specter of communism and its many forms (such as progressivism, liberalism, and socialism), mistakenly believing that socialism is a paradise for those who do everything for free and do whatever they want. But anyone who has lived in a socialist country would never think so.

Zheng Yi, a mainland China writer who has been in the United States for about 30 years, said in a radio interview that the US election reminded of him the Republic of China in 1949, which retreated to Taiwan when the Chinese Communist Party took power. He said that he had fled the mainland for many years and did not want to see the United States become another country occupied by socialists.

In 2015, the Chinese Communist Party promised a fake judicial reform and said its rubber-stamp courts will accept all cases filed with them. In response to the announcement, 210,000 Falun Gong practitioners and their families filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party leader who ordered the persecution of Falun Gong, with the Supreme People’s Procuratorate and Supreme People’s Court, the highest judiciary agencies in China.

Not surprisingly, the two highest legal organs in China, under the instructions of the CCP, not only failed to accept a single case, but also colluded with the Ministry of Public Security to arrest and persecute the plaintiffs of the lawful complaints nationwide.

It is reasonable to think that if Trump's opponent comes to power, will the United States still have judicial justice, and will there still be freedom and human rights?

Glory Will Belong to the One Chosen by God and Those Who Believe in God

French sociologist and political theorist Tocqueville said in his book, Democracy in America: “The national will is one of those terms abused most widely by schemers of all times and despots of all ages. Some have seen it expressed in votes bought from the brokers of power; others in the votes of an interested or fearful minority. There are even some who have discovered it fully formulated in the silence of the people and who have thought that from the fact of obedience came, for them, the right of command.”

Tocqueville also said in the book,“In America, the principle of the sovereignty of the people is not hidden or sterile as it is in certain nations; it is recognized by the mores, proclaimed by the laws; it spreads freely and reaches its fullest consequences without obstacles.”

Today, however, after the specter of communism – the true enemy of mankind – has encroached America, the luster of the people's sovereignty has dimmed, the grievances of nearly 80 million voters have nowhere to go, freedom of speech has been ruthlessly blocked, the values of spirituality and faith misguided and alienated, and a leading member of a treasonous criminal enterprise has been falsely proclaimed as the president-elect of the American people.

On December 12, massive rallies and marches took place in Washington D.C., with countless people from across the country gathering in front of the U.S. Supreme Court to make their voices heard. One attendee said, “I pray to God that Trump will be re-elected, and I know it. I'm not fighting for Trump. I'm fighting for God.”

One netizen tweeted: “If Trump's opponent cheats on stage, I have a hunch that we humans will face ten plagues (the ten plagues in Exodus). If one does not fall, perhaps God has decided to abandon Mankind has started anew. But even so, I still choose light and justice! Do not sell my soul.”

On the same day, Trump delivered an important message at the press conference: “I just want to tell my supporters, because this race is far from over.” This race is not just against Trump's opponent, but also against the international interest groups behind him, such as Communist China and Iran.

Among faith groups, there is a saying that Trump was chosen by the divine to complete this mission. Accordingly, long-time preparations must have been made with foundations laid to fulfill this mission. Numerous precedents had also occurred in history that turned crises into opportunities towards glory and long-term peace.

Examples like this include Abraham Lincoln who led a nation through moral, constitutional, and political challenges, making him one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history. Across the dynasties in ancient China, Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty resolved the Xuanwumen Incident (a palace coup), Emperor Yongle of Ming Dynasty won the Jingnan Campaign (a three-year civil war), while Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty pacified the trouble caused by the reckless general Aobai (who amassed huge power and attempted to overthrow the then pre-teen emperor).

Throughout such eras, these leaders overcame unimaginable difficulty and demonstrated great courage. At the same time, they were also bestowed with unparalleled wisdom and determination by the divine, supported by outstanding counselors, and followed by loyal citizens. By working together, they wrote glorious chapters in the history of the battle between good and evil.

Righteousness will prevail. In 2020, the person chosen by God and the believers of God will perform miracles and create greater glories.
