1. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] The Couple of Mr. Li Taimin and Ms. Zheng Jinwen Facing Trial
The couple Mr. Li Taimin and Ms. Zheng Jinwen in Caofeidian District were arrested on July 17, 2019, by the police from the Eighth Farm Police Station and Caofeidian District Police Department. The couple has been detained for more than a year and is now facing a trial in Luannan County Court on November 10, 2020.
2. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qiao Yinglan Under Formal Arrest
Ms. Qiao Yinglan was arrested in March 2020 and her home was ransacked. Dafa books, the photo of Falun Gong's founder, and a laptop were taken away. She was fined 1000 yuan and was allowed to go home because of the pandemic.
Ms. Qiao was arrested again on October 28, 2020, and was sent to Chaoyang City Detention House under a 15-day detention. Now her family received the formal arrest notice and her case had been sent to the Procuratorate.
3. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yaqin Having Two Hearings Via Video
Ms. Wang Yaqin had two hearings in September and on October 1, 2020, via video.
4. [Tianjin] Seven Practitioners Harassed
The daughter of Ms. Dong Chaofeng lives in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The police from Lutai Town, Ninghe District of Tianjin traveled a long way to Ningbo City to look for Ms. Dong Chaofeng to get her signature on the so-called “guaranteed statement”.
Mr. Zhai Xinhao was arrested at his workplace by the police from Lutai Town Police Station. They intimidated and threatened him to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement”, which he refused firmly.
Ms. Yu Wenxiu in Lutai Town has been harassed at home by local police more than 20 times, from May 2020 until now. They harassed her and her family and made the four generations of her family have no peace. They threatened that her son would be fired if she refused to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement”.
Ms. Hu Xianghui in Lutai Town refused to sign the statement. Her husband had been harassed by the government officials and was hospitalized a few days ago under the pressure. Her son and her daughter-in-law were under great pressure.
Ms. Li Chunxiu in Lutai Town was requested to go to the police station to sign the statement promising not to practice Falun Gong otherwise she would be put into detention since she was still on bail. Ms. Li refused to cooperate and had to leave her home.
Ms. Han Shuyun and Xing Zhenhua (gender unknown) were arrested on November 3 because they were on bail pending trial and refused to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement”. Their homes were ransacked. The police took away the printer and computer from Ms. Han’s home. Currently, Ms. Han Shuyun has been released home. Xing Zhenhua has no news.
5. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guo Yuying Having a Court Hearing
Ms. Guo Yuying has been detained since she was arrested in April 2020. She had a court hearing at Yimei District Court on October 27, 2020, and the sentence is pending. Currently, Ms. Guo is detained in Yichun City Detention Center.
6. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shuqing Arrested
Ms. Zhang Shuqing (74 years old) was arrested on November 8, 2020, for clarifying the truth. She was detained at the local police station.
7. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Luo Mingsong Harassed Multiple Times
Mr. Luo Mingsong was harassed at home on the morning of October 27, 2020, by multiple people from Zaojiao Street Residential Office, the local police station, and the Nanqiao Community. They tried to force Mr. Luo to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement” and threatened him with his children and grandchildren’s future.
Mr. Luo was harassed again on the morning of October 28, by the party director of Nanqiao Community and the village director.
Mr. Luo was harassed at home once again on October 30 by two staff members from Zaojiao Street Residential Office. They threatened to take action on him next time if he still refused to sign the statement.
8. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Chunhuan Facing Trial; Her Husband Liu Dapeng Sentenced to Three Years in Jail
Ms. Li Chunhuan and her husband Liu Dapeng were arrested at home on April 3, 2020, by five police officers from Zhengyang Police Station. Their home was ransacked. They were tied to metal chairs for interrogation. Ms. Li was under five-day administration arrest. Mr. Liu was under formal arrest. They were detained in the police station for two days and were allowed to go home because of the pandemic. They were released on bail pending trial.
The couple were called to Zhengyang Police Station on August 6, 2020. Mr. Liu was then arrested officially and sent to Yushu City Detention Center. He was sentenced secretly to three years in prison on August 31, 2020, in Dehui City Court. Mr. Liu had been sentenced to 11 years in prison before because of his practicing Falun Gong.
Ms. Li was scheduled to be tried in Changyi District Court of Jilin City on October 28, 2020. It has been postponed.
9. [Cang County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
Ms. Zhang Guie, Ms. Dong Shuxia, Ms. Zhang Baoru, and Ms. Zhao Shufeng in Duanzhuangzi Village, Wangjiapu Township of Cang County, has been harassed recently. The local township officials and local police officers came to their homes to demand them to write the so-called “guaranteed statement”, which is rejected by all practitioners.
10. [Gongyi City, Henan Province] Ms. Chen Huiping and Ms. Niu Qingqing Arrested
Ms. Chen Huiping (55 years old) and her daughter Ms. Niu Qingqing (31 years old) were arrested at home on the noon of October 20, 2020, by the police from Xiaoguan Town Police Station. Their home was ransacked. About 50 Dafa books, ten copies of Minghui Weekly, and five cell phones were taken away. They were detained one night in the police station.
The next day, on October 21, Ms. Chen had a medical check in Gongyi People’s Hospital and later in No. 2 People’s Hospital of Zhengzhou City before she was sent to No. 3 Zhengzhou Detention Center. She was released on November 5, 2020.
Ms. Niu was detained in Luoyang City Detention Center. Her situation is unknown.
11. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Han Fuguo and Ms. Liu Xuefen Harassed
Ms. Han Fuguo and Ms. Liu Xuefen are practitioners in Zhaozuo Village, Dongwang Town, Dingzhou City.
Ms. Han was called back to the town government office on the morning of November 4, 2020, from the field that she was working. She was demanded to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement”, which she firmly rejected.
The village official Yang Suping and three police officers came to Ms. Liu’s home on the morning of October 22, 2020. They photographed her husband who was not a practitioner. The village director Gao Haiwei came to Ms. Liu’s home on November 4 to harass her. He demanded Ms. Liu to sign on the printed statement which she didn’t cooperate.
12. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Liu Fenglan and her daughter Ms. Zhang Haiyan were arrested on September 3, 2020, by the police from Wenfeng District Domestic Security Division. Their home was ransacked. Later, Ms. Shen Yanling, Ms. Song Xiuling, and Mr. Cheng Guoqiang were also arrested.
Currently, Ms. Liu Fenglan, her daughter Ms. Zhang Haiyan and Mr. Cheng Guoqiang are still detained in Anyang Detention Center. Ms. Shen and Ms. Song were released after being detained for more than 10 days.
13. [Liaoxi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wu Jiajian Arrested
Wu Jiajian (gender unknown) from Taiguang Community of Jiangshan Town was arrested on November 7, 2020, by the police from Liquanzhuang Police Station. The police didn’t show their IDs and took Wu away with the excuse to verify something in the police station. However, when Wu’s family members went to the police station around 8:30 PM, Wu had been sent away to an unknown location.
Next morning, November 8, when the family member came to the police station again, the director of the police station told them that Wu Jiajian was taken away by the police from Luoyang City, Henan Province.
14. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tang Shuxian Harassed
Ms. Tang Shuxian was harassed at home by the village accountant who was sent by Ma Zhuo from Lalin Town Police Station. She was threatened if she didn’t sign the so-called “guaranteed statement”, and her grandchildren would be implicated. They might not be able to go to a university or go into the military.
15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Shulan Arrested
Ms. Li Shulan in Xindahuafu Community of Kuancheng District was arrested at home on the afternoon of November 7, 2020, by the police from Kaixuan Police Station.
16. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Cunlan Arrested
Ms. Zhang Cunlan was arrested on October 28, 2020, by the police from Xinan Police Station of Dongan District when she was distributing QR code cards. She was released home around 7 PM that evening. Her home was ransacked. The police took away her personal belongings including more than 30 bills with the truth-clarifying words, one player, two speakers, Dafa books, the photo of Falun Gong founder, more than ten amulets, one seal with the word of “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”, a few of pendants and more than 20 New Year’s posters.
17. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Yanqun Facing a Trial
Ms. Song Yanqun and another practitioner will be tried in November 10, 2020, by Shulan City Court.
18. [Guangzong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Xiuhong Arrested
Ms. Yan Xiuhong was arrested recently by Zhang Mengkan, head of the domestic security division and the police from Wei County Police Department. She is currently detained in Guangzong Detention Center.
19. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ji Wenqun Harassed
Ji Wenqun (gender unknown) was harassed at home on September 30, 2020, by the police from Jiachuan Town Police Station of Wangcang County. They threatened Ji that there would be life or death consequences if Ji was found to distribute truth-clarifying materials.
20. [Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region] Ms. Wang Meifeng and Ms. Guo Lishanglian Harassed
Ms. Wang Meifeng was harassed at her barbershop on October 26, 2020, by the staff from the local neighborhood community. She was harassed again at her shop on November 2 by four people from the community and the local police station. A few days later, on November 5, six people from the local community and the local police station came to her shop to harass her again. They demanded Ms. Wang to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement” and threatened her, that if she refused, they would make her close her shop.
Ms. Guo Lishanglian was harassed at home on November 4, 2020, by local police. They demanded her or her family members to sign the so-called “guaranteed statement”, which she rejected.
21. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Fenglan and Ms. Wang Zhongxia Arrested
Ms. Zhang Fenglan and Ms. Wang Zhongxia were arrested on the street on August 18, 2020, by the police from Wenhuan Street Police Station of Binzhou Town, Bin County. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Wang was released home on the same day. Ms. Zhang has been detained to this day.
22. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tu Arrested
Over-70-year-old Ms. Tu from Dongxihu District was captured by surveillance camera when she posted truth-clarifying materials. She was arrested on the morning of November 4, 2020. Her whereabouts is unknown.
23. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Facing a Trial
Mr. Yang Xiaoming, Chen Lin (gender unknown) and Mr. Gao Zhencai will have a court hearing on November 11, 2020, in Lubei District Court.
Mr. Yang was arrested on July 3, 2019, and his home was ransacked. More than ten laser printers, a glue binding machine worth the value of 20,000 yuan and the printing materials were taken away, as well as the cash of tens of thousands of yuan. Chen and Mr. Gao were arrested at the same time as Mr. Yang. They have been detained in No.1 Detention Center of Tangshan City.
24. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Hu Wenliang Harassed
Mr. Hu Wenliang was harassed at home by Liu Zhonghuo and others from East Square Community on November 2, 2020. They kept knocking on the door and tried to break in his home.
25. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Feng Jinyan Harassed
Ms. Feng Jinyan was harassed at home in September 2020 by the police from Erzhan Town Police Station of Zhaoyuan County. They kept asking whether she still practiced Falun Gong, which she refused to cooperate.
Ms. Feng was harassed at home again in October by Feng Xingyou, party director of Xiaochengzi Village of Erzhan Town, and Lian Chenggang, chief of Democratic New Village. They demanded Ms. Feng to sign on the so-called “guaranteed statement” and photographed her as well. Ms. Feng refused to cooperate with them.
26. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Li Xiaohong, Gao Xiulan, Gao Zhixia, and Jiangang were arrested on November 5, 2020, by the police from Xisantiao Police Station and Kuancheng District Domestic Security Division.
27. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Guifang’s Verdict Upheld
Ms. Sun Guifang from Jinzhou District was arrested on September 17, 2019, by the police from Jinzhou District Domestic Security Division and Yongzheng Police Station. She has been detained in Dalian Detention Center. She was sentenced to three years in prison in Jinzhou District Court, which she appealed to the intermediate court. Recently the original verdict was upheld by the intermediate court.
