(Minghui.org) When Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang was released from detention during the winter of 2001, her daughter Jie was going to pick her up at the detention center. The road was slippery, the taxi she had hired flipped over several times when it crossed a bridge. She was immediately taken to a hospital.
Ms. Wang went to the hospital. When seeing her badly injured daughter, she was heartbroken. Jie was 5'7”, weighed 170 pounds, and was 4 months pregnant. She was conscious, but could not move her body. Her second cervical vertebra was bulging, the third one was fractured, and she had severe brain edema. The hospital gave a poor prognosis. They suggested to abort the baby and try to rescue the mother. Ms. Wang urged them to save both lives.
The agony Jie endured was beyond words, every minute was hard to bear. She could not stop crying. Ms. Wang told her daughter to trust Master, and only Falun Dafa could save her now. Jie had witnessed that her mother had recovered from all her illnesses, and she also believed that Falun Dafa was good. She told her mother that she would listen to her, and wanted to study the Fa teachings with her.
Ms. Wang asked that her daughter be moved to a single-bed room. Once moved, she began reading the Fa to Jie. Jie was in so much pain that she could not sleep. But, whenever her mother read the Fa teachings, Jie felt some relief and could sleep for a little while.
The hospital wanted to give Jie intravenous medicine for the brain swelling, and planned to drill two holes in her skull to secure her neck. Mother and daughter declined the treatment. Hearing the Fa teachings around the clock, Jie slowly began to move, first a finger joint, another joint the next day.
On the third day, half asleep, Jie was dragged to the gate of the nether world. The guard looked at a thick roster and found her name. But the one in charge said that they could not allow her to enter the netherworld since she had read Zhuan Falun. That was true, as Jie had studied Falun Dafa books in the past.
Jie told her mother about her dream. They were both greatly encouraged. Falun Dafa is a supreme Buddha Fa, it is the heavenly Fa. Those who read the book are blessed. They no longer may enter the nether world.
Four days later, Jie told her mother that she would be fine. She dreamed that a group of doctors was treating her, and rearranging her bone in her sleep! Ms. Wang knew what that was about! Master was helping Jie!
During the following seven days, Master helped to connect her bone, one could hear the cracking sound even in this dimension! Ms. Wang was deeply moved. Jie was able to move most of her body by then. Everyone was amazed!
Jie was released after 40 days. She had some residual symptoms and still needed some help. Jie continued to study the Fa, and recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She gradually recovered.
She gave birth to a healthy baby boy in April of 2002. Her entire family was amazed and grateful that Master saved the lives of mother and daughter.
