(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Xiaoguang's Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Wang Xiaoguang from the Keche New Area was arrested on April 20, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was held in the Weizigou Detention Center for 15 days.
Mr. Wang was arrested again on May 5. His whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Hongchen Detained
Mr. Sun Hongchen from Yuanguang Village, Huangyuquan Township, was arrested by officers from the Huangyuquan Police Station on the morning of May 6, 2019. He was taken directly to Changchun City for ten days of detention, and also had money extorted.

3. [Tianjin] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wang Guiru, Ms. Gao Yanfang, Ms. Yang Huimin, and Mr. Liu Wenrong, from Nancaicun Township, Wuqing District, were arrested on the morning of April 23, 2019.
Ms. Yang and Mr. Liu were later released, while Ms. Wang and Ms. Gao were taken into custody.
4. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Yanchun and Ms. Pei Yuxian Facing Trial
Mr. Li Yanchun and Ms. Pei Yuxian from the Haigang District had their cases turned over to the Changli County Court by the Changli Procuratorate on April 28, 2019. They are due to be tried on the morning of May 31.
5. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Yuan, 87, Ms. Shen Zhiling, 60, and Mr. Cai, in his 60s, from Yanling County, were arrested by the Yanling police when they were studying the Falun Gong teachings at home in late April 2019. They were taken to the Xuchang City Detention Center.
Mr. Yuan was released later that day, while Mr. Cai and Ms. Shen were detained for a week. Both practitioners have since returned home.
6. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Qiao Hua, Ms. Liu Yuhuan, Ms. Feng Qiaozhen, and Ms. Zhang Nao, from Shangcai County, were arrested again after they had been released. They were tried by the Runan County Court.
Ms. Qiao was sentenced to a one-year prison term and fined 3,000 yuan, while Ms. Liu, Ms. Feng, and Ms. Zhang were each sentenced to a nine-month prison term and fined 2,000 yuan.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Huiming Detained
Ms. Xu Huiming from the Jiangjun Road area of the Dongxihu District is being held in the Erzhigou No. 1 Women's Detention Center in Dongxihu.
8. [Nanzhang County, Hubei Province] Ms. Sun Lijun Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Ms. Sun Lijun was arrested by officers from the Nanzhang County Domestic Security Division and Police Department on September 13, 2017. She was sentenced to a five-year prison term and fined 10,000 yuan.
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Qi Qinglian's Case Turned Over to Court
Ms. Qi Qinglian, 65, from Zhongbei Town in the Xiqing District, was arrested on February 25, 2019. She is being held in the Xiqing Detention Center. Her case has been submitted to the court.
10. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Muduo Facing Trial
Ms. Li Muduo is being held in the Chenzhou City Detention Center. She is due to be tried at the No. 2 courtroom of the Suxian District Court at 9:30 a.m. on May 10, 2019.
11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hua Yanru Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Hua Yanru was arrested by officers from the Binhai New Area Domestic Security Division on November 1, 2018. She was tried by the Binhai New Area Court on March 21, 2019, and sentenced to a two-year prison term on April 24.

12. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Song Konghua Sentenced to a Five-Year Prison Term
Mr. Song Konghua, 58, from Dalianhe Town, was arrested by the Yilan County police on August 31, 2018. He was sentenced to a five-year prison term and fined 30,000 yuan.
Mr. Song is being held in the Yilan Detention Center.
