(Minghui.org) To celebrate the 2019 Chinese New Year, Falun Dafa practitioners in 30 provincial regions throughout China sent greetings to the Minghui website to sincerely wish the practice's founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, a Happy New Year! They also expressed their gratitude to Falun Dafa for their physical and spiritual improvement.
It has been 27 years since Falun Dafa was introduced to the public in 1992, and for 20 of these years, practitioners have been suffering as a result of a persecution campaign launched by the communist party in July 1999. Neither the hate propaganda put out on all of China's media nor the violence nor the brainwashing classes have succeeded in compromising practitioners' righteous belief in the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Not only have practitioners followed their consciences and held themselves to lofty principles, but they have also stepped forward to clarify misunderstandings as a result of the defamatory propaganda by telling the Chinese people the real story of Falun Dafa.
Gratitude Beyond Words
Practitioners in Xupu County, Hunan Province, wrote: “As we celebrate Chinese New Year, there is no way to express our gratitude to Master. Our good health, the improvements in our character, our happy families and better lives—all of these have come from Falun Dafa and Master. The principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance help us to be better citizens and give us a ladder to the divine. Thank you, Master!”
One greeting came from a group of practitioners in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Some of them are in their 80s, with the eldest 89. “The practice of Falun Dafa helps us to be healthy and young,” they wrote. Despite their ages, they have been producing Falun Dafa materials and distributing them in nearby regions. “We have been through so many things in our lives and now we are very fortunate to be Falun Dafa practitioners. We are very grateful for Master's compassion and sacrifice.”
Remaining Diligent in Cultivation Practice
Practitioners in Guangxi Province said that, as a result of the Party hate propaganda, many people have been deceived and are hostile to Falun Dafa and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. “We will work harder to produce more materials and distribute them all over, so that people will know the facts and choose a better future,” they wrote.
In greetings from Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, practitioners noted how Master has been taking care of practitioners and has sacrificed tremendously. They wrote: “We will be strict with ourselves, following the Falun Dafa principles to look within, and become better people. As Fa-rectification Period Dafa Disciples, we will be compassionate, pure hearted, and righteous. Thank you, Master, and Happy New Year!”
A Better Future
Practitioners from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, contributed a poem:
Spring arriving after rains and snows,Master offers salvation with tremendous sacrifice;We practitioners have no way of returning Master's compassion,only to share with people and bring them the auspicious news.
Another poem was received from practitioners in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province:
Thousands of years of reincarnation and suffering,we finally found the path towards light;True nature revealed like pure lotus out of mud,nothing can stop us from being upright.
Closely following Master's teaching,we leave attachments and human notions behind;Climbing up on the journey of cultivation practice,our hearts are determined and delighted.
Dawn is breaking on the horizon,we are saving everyone in sight;Heaven and earth renewed forever,Dafa disciples and Master will happily reunite.
