Additional Persecution News from China – December 21, 2018 (14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Mei Shuqing Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison

Mr. Mei Shuqing was sentenced to three-and-a-half-years in prison by the Hanyang District Court. He plans to appeal. Mr. Mei is still being held at the Hanyang Detention Center.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Lili Arrested

Ms. Yang Lili was arrested on the evening of December 14, 2018. Her whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Shang Sulan Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison

Ms. Shang Sulan from the Miyun District was sentenced to 18 months in prison by the Miyun Court. She is being held at the Miyun Detention Center.

4. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Guirong Arrested

Ms. Ma Guirong from the Bincheng District was arrested for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in a open market on the morning of December 16, 2018. She was held at the Shidong Police Station before she was released.

5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Yuewen Detained

Mr. Zhang Yuewen was arrested by officers from the Dongqiang Police Station on the evening of November 12, 2018. The arrest was ordered by the Erdaojiang Medicine High Tech Police Department, which is under the Tonghua Police Department. Mr. Zhang was detained for five days in the Changliu Detention Center and was released on the afternoon of November 19, 2018.

6. [Guidong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Fu Yueqiong Being Brainwashed

Ms. Fu Yueqiong from Xinqiao Village, Zhaiqian Town, was arrested for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong by officers from the Guidong County Domestic Security Division and the Zhaiqian Police Station. She is being held at the Chenzhou City Brainwashing Center.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Xueyan Detained

Ms. Zhao Xueyan from the Zhifu District was arrested b Nandajie Police Station officers on the evening of November 19, 2018. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, DVD player, computer, and other items. She was released after ten days in a detention center.

8. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Fan Yunfei Detained

Mr. Fan Yunfei of Sihe Township was arrested at home on December 19, 2018. He was detained for five days in the Yushu City Detention Center.

9. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Qian Jinhua, Mr. Gong Maohai, Mr. Hu Jinggui, and Ms. Hu Jinghui were arrested on September 29, 2018. They have been detained ever since.

10. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Ning Detained

Mr. Li Ning was arrested for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong by officers from the Yucailu Police Station on December 6, 2018. He was detained for 15 days.

11. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. He Yan Detained

Ms. He Yan was arrested by Wenan County Domestic Security Division officers on November 29, 2018. She was taken to the Bazhou City Detention Center.

12. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Lizhu Detained

Ms. Zheng Lizhu and her husband were arrested on December 17, 2018. Her husband was released. Ms. Zheng was held for five days in a detention center.

13. [Xinzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Xiying Arrested

Mr. Zhao Xiying was arrested on December 9, 2018, by officer Wang Limin from the Xinzhou Domestic Security Division and others from the Heshuo Police Station,

14. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Dengchen Detained

Mr. Li Dengchen from Baishu Village, Chenshi Town, 77, was arrested by officers from the Chenshi Town Police Station. He was detained for 20 days in the Shenzhou City Detention Center.
