(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the first Nebraska Asian Festival held in the Lewis & and Clark Landing Park along the Missouri River in downtown Omaha on July 28, 2018. Practitioners participated in this cultural festival to introduce this traditional cultivation practice to the public.
Some visitors learned the practice right there, and many others expressed their wish to join the weekly group practice in the park.

Mr. Charles, an attorney and an assistant professor, told a practitioner that he was very aware of the persecution that Falun Dafa practitioners have been suffering in China, including the forced organ harvesting. “I wish I could be of more help. Please contact me if you need anything.” He signed the petition supporting Senate Resolution 220, condemning the Chinese Communist Party for forcibly taking organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners for profit.
Dan and Nina were in a nearby tent teaching Judo. They came by the Falun Dafa tent three times and asked many questions about the practice and the persecution in China. Before the event closed, they came by again and signed the petition.
A young Chinese man said that he had run into Falun Dafa in cities like New York and San Francisco, and learned about the practice and the persecution. Practitioner Wang told him that Falun Dafa practitioners hope that every Chinese person see the Communist Party for what it was, and side with justice.
