(Minghui.org) A few days ago, a practitioner asked me to send forth righteous thoughts.“You cultivate well,” he said. “Your righteous thoughts are strong. Another practitioner mentioned that he could feel that your energy was very strong when you were sending righteous thoughts.”
I replied, “It's not because I cultivate better than you do or my righteous thoughts are stronger; it's probably because I pay more attention to sending righteous thoughts.”
Strong Energy Field
Since Master told us to send forth righteous thoughts, I have done it diligently. Because I did not feel anything, however, I did not know if my sending forth righteous thoughts was effective or not.
When Ms. Jing was going through illness karma elimination, I felt that I should send righteous thoughts to help her. So I said, “Let me help you with sending righteous thoughts.” Without much confidence, I crossed my legs. But the moment I sat in the lotus position, I felt my whole body turn hot, and I could feel a strong energy field. Master was strengthening and encouraging me. After over half an hour, I stopped. Jing said she felt a calmness that she hadn’t felt in quite some days.
During the Beijing Olympics in 2008, Ms. Lian, who was running a truth-clarification material production site, was arrested. I knew her and was also familiar with her family. I tried to send forth righteous thoughts for her every hour.
I felt weak. I lacked strength, and it was difficult to sit there. I felt as if my sending forth righteous thoughts was useless. After a couple of days, I wondered if I should continue.
While debating with myself, I thought, “Whether I can feel the power or not, Master taught us to send forth righteous thoughts, so it must be useful. I must continue.”
As soon as I put my legs in the lotus position again, I immediately felt my whole body become burning hot, and I felt a very powerful energy field. Ms. Lian was released from the brainwashing center soon after.
Master Grants Us Special Abilities
Master said:
“Do you realize something? My Dafa disciples, your righteous thoughts do have an effect. And the combined effect of each of you together is powerful beyond compare. The reason you can’t achieve such an effect is that your faith is lacking, and your righteous thoughts aren’t strong enough.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference XI)
Through regular Fa-study and practice, I began to firmly believe that every practitioner has supernatural abilities. Even though sometimes our abilities are not that strong, as long as what we do is on the Fa, Master and righteous gods will empower and help us.
Master said, “Sending forth righteous thoughts is another really magnificent thing for our Dafa disciples.” (Touring North American to Teach the Fa)
I never connected sending righteous thoughts with being “really magnificent.” Why would Master call it “magnificent?” Master has given us special abilities, and it was only given to Fa-rectification period disciples.
Master asked us to send forth righteous thoughts, which we could use to eliminate evil and assist Master to rectify the Fa. If we do not treasure it and do not pay enough attention to it, we let Master down!
Using Righteous Thoughts During a Trial
Two other practitioners and I planned to send forth righteous thoughts when another practitioner was illegally tried. I was sending forth righteous thoughts toward the court. My thoughts included ideas like, “Eradicate all evil that damage Dafa; disintegrate all of the dark minions and rotten demons; destroy the elements of the communist evil specter in other dimensions.”
Some practitioners had to leave at 11 a.m., but I was asked to stay. I was a bit hesitant but decided to continue until the end of the trial.
A few days later, other practitioners said that the lawyer did a great job. The judicial authorities had made a big deal out of this trial and brought in many people to watch, including officials from different government offices who watched it on a monitor in another courtroom. The lawyer's calm yet firm defense gained the upper hand, with the audience even applauding him.
Neither the judge nor the prosecutor was able to offer a reasonable argument for the prosecution. Even the practitioner did a fantastic job, with appropriate answers to all of the questions.
This case helped many practitioners realize the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts. Our practitioners' righteous thoughts displayed tremendous power in other dimensions.
