(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 were illegally arrested.

1. [Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuhong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiuhong was arrested by officers from the Shuguang Police Station on February 20, 2018. She was released that day.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Shaozhi Arrested

Mr. Li Shaozhi was arrested by officers from the Minkang Police Station in the Nanguan District of Changchun City on September 22, 2017. His case was brought to the Nanguan District on November 14.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Xuhong and Ms. Wang Tianwa Tried

Ms. Guo Xuhong and Ms. Wang Tianwa were tried at the Zaohua Detention Center by the Faku County Court on February 26, 2018.

4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zu Chao and Ms. Liu Ruiyu Brought to Court

Mr. Zu Chao and his wife Ms. Liu Ruiyu were arrested by officers from Cixi City on September 7, 2017. On December 20, the Cixi City Procuratorate transferred their case to Yuyao City. Meanwhile, their son was hospitalized again and dropped out of school. Their family and lawyer have been asking for their release but to no avail.

5. [Shaodong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Dongying Sentenced

Ms. Zeng Dongying was recently sentenced to a one-year prison term. She was denied family visits.

6. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Aihua Tried

Ms. Liu Aihua was arrested by officers including Sun Weihong (孙伟宏) from the Shuangqing District Domestic Security Division. She has been held at the Yangjialong Detention Center. She was tried in the Shuangqing District Court on February 28, 2018.

7. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Miao and Ms. Zhu Yi Persecuted

Ms. Zhang Miao was transferred from the Baoan Detention Center to the Nanshan Detention Center in December 2017. His case was brought to Nanshan Court.

Ms. Zhu Yi was transferred from the Futian Detention Center to the Nanshan Detention Center at the end of January 2018. Her case was brought to the Nanshan Procuratorate.

8. [Binchuan County, Yunnan Province] Mr. Zhu Huilin and Ms. Wang Shunxian Detained

Mr. Zhu Huilin and his wife Ms. Wang Shunxian were arrested on January 23, 2018. Mr. Zhu is being held in the Binchuan Detention Center and Ms. Wang in the Xiaguan City Detention Center.
