(Minghui.org) I have been practicing Falun Dafa since 1999. I want to share a recent experience of overcoming sickness karma to show how Falun Dafa is beyond science.
When I got up in the middle of the night on July 13, 2018, to use the bathroom, I noticed that one side of my mouth was drooping, a sign of what others would call a “stroke.” I had already had some warning signs earlier that night: I had pulsating pain in my left ear and my eyes were red and teary. I also felt liquid coming out of my ear that appeared bloody and yellowish. The next day, both of my ears had the same symptoms. My vision was blurry and my face looked distorted, like someone's after a stroke.
The third day, the back of my head and neck hurt terribly. The pain was unbearable. Then I heard a sound like a fan spinning in both of my ears and was aware that it was a Falun (a law wheel) making adjustments. I had experienced the same sensation many times in the past when Master adjusted and cleansed my body.
Master taught us: “For a cultivator, looking within is a magical tool.” (Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference)
I began seriously looking within and found many human notions: I cared about petty gains, I did not like it when others criticized me, I did not cultivate my speech well, I still harbored resentments, and I looked down on others. Master told us to guard our virtue. Those human attachments of mine had generated so much karma! I made up my mind to completely eliminate them. When I was able to enlighten to it, I felt so much lighter!
While I was meditating, I saw an ugly face. I knew it was a creditor from my previous life seeking to have me repay what I owed. It dawned on me that my experiencing sickness karma was repaying my debt. The ugly face laughed at my distorted features, but I looked at it calmly and kept reciting the Fa teachings. It soon disappeared.
Master continued to adjust my body and eliminate my sickness karma at the root. A few days later, through my celestial eye, I saw Master pulling black strings thinner than hair out of my chin, one after another. Those must have been the substances that had produced my “stroke” symptoms.
I completely recovered! Thank you, Master, for curing my “stroke!”
