(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yanbo Arrested

Ms. Li Yanbo from the Yuanbaoshan District was arrested on December 10, 2018, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. Her notebook computer was confiscated.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Cheng Xiaofu Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Cheng Xiaofu was sentenced to a two-year prison term and fined 2,000 yuan by the Shunyi District Court on December 7, 2018. His family plans to appeal to the No. 3 Intermediate Court.

3. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Mr. Yan Zhonghua Detained

Mr. Yan Zhonghua was arrested at the Changchun Train Station by the railway police on December 8, 2018, for carrying paper currency bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. He was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center to be held for 15 days.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Ye Detained

Ms. Zhou Ye was arrested at the No. 1 Hospital of Jilin University by security guards on November 30, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center and told she would be held for 15 days.

5. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Mr. Bi Yehai and Four Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Bi Yehai, his wife, Mr. Wang Zhanjun, Mr. Wang's son, and Ms. Zhang Wenhua were arrested by officers from the Nong'an County Police Department when they were in Mr. Bi's home on December 10, 2018. The officers confiscated a jeep.

The five practitioners were taken to the police department.

6. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Qiu An Detained

Mr. Qiu An, 44, was arrested by Xiaobanqiao Police Station officers on the afternoon of December 11, 2018, for talking to people about Falun Gong in his own mobile phone store. His home was ransacked.

Mr. Qiu was taken to the Taiping Town Detention Center in Anning City and beaten.

7. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhao Wannian Arrested

Mr. Zhao Wannian was arrested by officers from the Dagang District Domestic Security Division on the morning of December 12, 2018. A computer, cell phone, and printed materials were confiscated.

Mr. Zhao was taken to the Taiping Town Police Station.

8. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yin Fengjiao and Ms. Yin Liumei Detained

Ms. Yin Fengjiao and Ms. Yin Liumei were arrested when the Chaling County police broke into Ms. Yin Fengjiao's home on the afternoon of December 7, 2018. Both practitioners were taken to the Zhuzhou City No. 1 Detention Center the following day.

9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Chunxiang Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yu Chunxiang was tried, in the absence of a lawyer, on September 4, 2018. She was sentenced to four years in prison on December 11.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guan Shuhua Detained

Ms. Guan Shuhua from Huajia Town in the Jinzhou District was arrested by officers from the Huajiatun Police Station on December 5, 2018, when she was distributing Falun Gong calendars at Lintun Farmers' Market. Her home was ransacked.

Ms. Guan is being detained for ten days.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shurong Detained

Ms. Zhang Shurong, 68, from the Xiangfang District was arrested by Daowai District Domestic Security Division officers on November 10, 2018. She is being held in the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center.

12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Lin Facing Trial

Mr. Zhao Lin was arrested by Xianfenglu Police Station officers on May 24, 2018, when he was posting Falun Gong materials. He was taken to the Nangang District Detention Center.

The Daoli District Court scheduled Mr. Zhao's trial for December 14.

13. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Bai Yaping's Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Bai Yaping from the Pingfang District was arrested by officers from the Pingfang Domestic Security Division and Baoguo Police Station on October 10, 2018. She was taken to the Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center.

Ms. Bai's case was turned over to the Pingfang Procuratorate on December 5.
