(Minghui.org) Mr. Jia Zhaomin, 48, is a teacher at Ping’an Middle School in the Changqing District of Jinan City. He was reported to the police on November 10, 2018, when he was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and handing out brochures in the villages of Sili and Kongguan in Qihe County. Huguan Police Station officers in Qihe County arrested him. He was taken to Dezhou Detention Center and illegally detained.
Two officers from the Qihe County Domestic Security Division ransacked Mr. Jia's home on November 12. They confiscated Falun Gong books and other materials related to the spiritual practice.
On November 13, officers went to Mr. Jia's middle school and ransacked his office.
Officers from the Qihe County Domestic Security Division and several unidentified people used social media to smear Mr. Jia's reputation by posting his picture and fabricated articles. The posts also claimed that Mr. Jia would be sentenced within a month.
