Twenty-two practitioners shared their experiences of looking within, improving themselves, letting go of attachments, and raising awareness about the persecution in China. Practitioners who attended told us that that were encouraged after hearing the experience sharing from their peers. One said, “We should not overlook cultivation or our missions just because we’re young.”

Many people signed the petition urging the Chinese Communist Party to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. One man said after signing the petition, “Others teach people to do self-defense. But you are not. Falun Gong teaches people to be kind.”
While other schools were altering test scores to improve their ratings, this principal convinces her staff that honesty and hard work would prevail over such tactics.
This summer camp offers well-designed activities and games for young adults to learn effective ways of getting along with each other, making choices for the future, and maintaining inner peace.
