(Minghui.org) Flushing Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in the afternoon on January 22 to wish Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa, a Happy New Year and celebrate this special occasion.
Practitioners from various ethnic backgrounds attended the event held at the Taiwan Center. Ranging from toddlers to seniors, they all want to send their sincere gratitude to Master Li.

The celebration began with a color guard performance, followed by singing, dancing, martial arts, and music instruments. Young practitioners with ages between 2 and 10 sang a song titled “Young Dafa Disciples”. Practitioners who often go on the street talk to people about Dafa and the persecution in China shared stories and sang together to thank Master. A group of waist drummers played “Falun Dafa is Great” to conclude the event.
“Master has sacrificed tremendously for us. I will do my best to fulfill my vows as a Dafa disciple,” said one practitioner.
