Additional Persecution News from China – September 2, 2015 (24 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 44 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shanghai] Ms. Hu Guifang Detained

Officers from the Fengbang Police Station in Jiading District arrested Ms. Hu Guifang at her home on August 29, 2015. Ms. Hu was taken to the Jiading Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

2. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Cheng Jiying and Ms. Yuan Ling Detained

Ms. Cheng Jiying and Ms. Yuan Ling were arrested on August 23, 2015. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated computers among other items. Both practitioners are being held in the Xuzhou Detention Center.

3. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Guo Bizhen Detained

Officers from the Huada Police Station arrested Ms. Guo Bizhen when she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on August 25, 2015. The officers ransacked Ms. Guo's home. Ms. Guo was taken to the Fuzhou City No. 2 Detention Center.

4. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Yujie and Ms. Zhang Fengxian Detained

Liu Zhonghe and other officers from the Suizhong Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Li Yujie and Ms. Zhang Fengxian, from Suizhong County, on August 30, 2015. Both practitioners were taken to the Huludao Detention Center.

Ms. Yan Ling from the Tongzhou District was arrested at home by local police officers from the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on August 28, 2015.

6. [Ningxiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Fang Aiqun Detained

Officers from the Shuangjiangkou Police Station arrested Ms. Fang Aiqun when she was telling people about Falun Gong in Shuangjiangkou on August 26, 2015. Ms. Fang is held in the Ningxiang County Detention Center for 15 days.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhu Youshan Arrested

Mr. Zhu Youshan from the Cangbu neighborhood, Xinzhou District was arrested at home by officers from the Domestic Security Division and the Xinzhou District 610 Office on August 27, 2015. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a computer and other items. He was released that afternoon.

8. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Yanping Detained

Ms. Li Yanping was arrested at work by Wang Yunfeng, Zhang Hongquan, and other officers from the Mulan County Domestic Security Division on the morning of August 31, 2015. She was taken to Harbin for detention.

Ms. Zhang Shufen from the Xihuashi area, Chongwen District was arrested on August 31, 2015. Her home was ransacked.

10. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhao Ximin Detained

Mr. Zhao Mimin from Huzhu Village, Wukeshu Town was arrested outside his home by officers from the local Domestic Security Division on August 31, 2015. He was held in a detention center for seven days.

11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Jiang Hanqin in Critical Condition

Mr. Jiang Hanqian has been held in the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center. He was severely abused for refusing to be transformed. He is now in critical condition.

12. [Zhangye City, Gansu Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Guan Zhenlin was arrested and taken to Jiuquan City on August 24, 2015.

Officers from the Gansu District Police Department in Jiuquan City arrested Ms. Tao Yu'e and Ms. Fang Ping on the morning of August 28, 2015. They also ransacked the two practitioners' homes.

13. [Hepu County, Guangxi Province] Ms. Zeng Jialan Taken to Brainwashing Center at the End of Prison Term

Ms. Zeng Jialan was held in the Guangxi Women's Prison for three and a half years. At the end of her prison term, she was directly taken to the Guiping Brainwashing Center by the Hepu County Political and Legal Affairs Committee and 610 Office on August 31, 2015.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Guanglu and 14 Other Practitioners Arrested

A total of 15 practitioners from Pengzhou City, including Mr. Zhang Guanglu, Ms. Yin Xianfen, Ms. Ye Sifang, Mr. Qian Anyu, and Mr. Tang Bangyu, were arrested by officers from the local police station and 610 Office on September 1, 2015 when they were studying the teachings of Falun Dafa at Mr. Zhang Guanglu's home. The officers ransacked the practitioners' homes and confiscated Falun Gong informational materials. The practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

15. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Sufang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Sufang was arrested by local police on the morning of August 26, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a notebook computer, a printer and Falun Gong informational materials. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Dingjia Police Station. She managed to escape later.

16. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Peiyan Detained

Ms. Wang Peiyan from the Dongli District was arrested on the morning of August 28, 2015 by Chang Wanxin, officer from the Dongli 610 Office, and other officers from the Xinlicun Police Station. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a photo of the Falun Gong founder, a computer, a printer, and cellphones. Ms. Wang is held in the Dongli District Detention Center.

17. [Tianjin] Ms. Yuan Arrested

Ms. Yuan was arrested on August 28, 2015.

18. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Changyu Detained

Mr. Wang Changyu from the Dongli District was arrested by officers from the Zhangguizhuang Police Station on August 30, 2015. He is being held in the Dongli District Detention Center.

19. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Xiaoguang Detained

Officers from the Dajiagou Town Police Station, in Dehui City arrested Mr. Yu Xiaoguang at home on the evening of September 1, 2015. Mr. Yu was taken to a detention center for 15 days of detention.

20. [Weifang Ctiy, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Zuoai Arrested

Ms. Zhang Zuoai was arrested by officers from the Dongguan Police Station, Gaomi City on September 1, 2015.

21. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Mr. Cheng Kun Arrested

Yuan Ye, director of the Dinghe Police Station, and other officers broke into Mr. Cheng Kun's home and ransacked it on August 31, 2015. They confiscated Falun Dafa books. Mr. Cheng was arrested the next day when he went to the police station to ask for his books.

22. [Puer City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Pu Jixian Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Pu Jixian from Lancang County was arrested in Puer City on July 21, 2015. She was officially placed under arrest after 15 days of detention.

23. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Yuzhi and Ms. Wang Xiuzhen Arrested

Ms. Ma Yuzhi and Ms. Wang Xiuzhen from the Dongchangfu District were arrested by officers from the Yansi Police Station when they were distributing Falun Gong informational materials in the Yansi neighborhood community on August 22, 2015. Both practitioners managed to escape.

24. [Nan County, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Chen Xueyou was arrested by local police on August 25, 2015 for mailing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. Mr. Luo Die was arrested on August 28, 2015. Ms. Liu Lihua was arrested on the afternoon of August 31, 2015. The three practitioners are held in the Nan County Detention Center.
