Additional Persecution News from China – July 26, 2015 (31 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 28 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 54 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ma Binggui and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Ma Binggui and his wife were arrested on July 16, 2015. The police confiscated two laptop computers, three printers, Falun Gong books, and other personal items. Mr. Ma is detained at the Shenyang No. 4 Detention Center, and his wife was released.

2. [Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Zhang Fengsen Detained

Mr. Zhang Fengsen, 80, was arrested by officers from the Zhanggong District Police Department and Yu Qingtong, captain of the Ganzhou City Domestic Security Division on July 22, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is detained at the Nanwai Police Station.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zong Jihong Detained

Mr. Zong Jihong was arrested and his home ransacked by officers from the Liushun Police Station in Xiangfang District on July 24, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin. He was detained at the Harbin No. 3 Detention Center for ten days.

4. [Tianjin] Mr. Han Tieqiang Detained

Mr. Han Tieqiang was arrested and taken to the Dagang District Detention Center on July 23, 2015. His home was ransacked.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Jiang Hanqian Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Jiang Hanqian was taken from the Qingling Detention Center to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center in Wuchang District on July 12, 2015.

6. [Qichun County, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. He Lanjiao and Ms. Xiong were arrested by officers including Zhou Jingping (周景平) from the Qichun County Domestic Security Section on July 21, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Xiong was released that day but Ms. He is detained at the Yangsiling Detention Center in Qichun County.

7. [Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xuemin Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Xuemin from the Shengli Oil Fields at Dongying City was recently arrested and taken to a brainwashing center.

8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

The following ten practitioners were arrested by officers from the Binbei Domestic Security Division including captain Dong Ning (董宁) on July 21, 2015:

9. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shuxian and Ms. Su Yakun Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shuxian was arrested on July 14, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, computers, and other personal items. Ms. Su Yakun was also arrested, and her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Zhaoying Detained

Ms. Yang Zhaoying was arrested and her home was ransacked on July 24, 2015. She is detained at the Dalian City Yaojia Detention Center.

11. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhao Shunu, Ms. Sun Shuying, Ms. Fang Kezhen were arrested by officers from the Huainan City Police Department on July 21, 2015, for going to a local post office to mail criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin. They are held at the Shijiadian Detention Center.

12. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Xiuhua was arrested at home by several Domestic Security officers led by a village commissioner on July 24, 2015. Ms. Zou Zongfang and Ms. Pan Dehua were also arrested. Ms. Zou was released that evening.

13. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Wenxiu Sentenced

Ms. Dong Wenxiu, detained at the Weifang City Detention Center, was sentenced to a four-year prison term. She was taken to the Jinan Prison in mid-June 2015.

14. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Yuying Detained

Ms. Pan Yuying was arrested by officers from Shandong Province Security Bureau, with the help of officers from the Binhai Police Department, on July 21, 2015. She is detained at the Niuzhuang Town Detention Center.

15. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Xia Xiaobi Arrested

Ms. Xia Xiaobi was arrested at her son's home by several plainclothes officers from the Guiyang City Police Station on July 14, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, three computers, three cell phones, and other items. Ms. Xia was taken to the Pingqiao Police Station and later released.

Ms. Dong Jiuhong was arrested at the Jinzhou Railway Station on July 18, 2015. She is detained at the Jinzhou Detention Center.

17. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Quan Arrested

Mr. Liu Quan was arrested on July 23, 2015, for filing criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin to the Beijing Supreme People's Procuratorate.

18. [Suizhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Yuqing's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Liu Yuqing was arrested by officers from the Yangma Town Police Station on July 22, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Qiu Bingyu Arrested

Mr. Qiu Bingyu was arrested by security officers and officers from the Baiguo Police Station on July 24, 2015. The police ransacked his home.

20. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wu Qingsheng was arrested at home by officers from the Shangzhi Town No. 4 Police Station on July 24, 2015. The police ransacked his home. He is detained at the Shangzhi Detention Center.

Mr. Wu's wife Ms. Wang Dejin, and Ms. Du Guiying were also arrested by officers from the No. 4 Police Station. Ms. Yang Kuiqiu, Ms. Ning Bohua, and Ms. Jia Xinghua were arrested by officers from the No. 3 Police Station. Ms. Yang and Ms. Jia were released and Ms. Ning was taken to the Yazijuan Detention Center in Harbin City.

Ms. Jiang Guizhen and Mr. Gao Zhiyou were arrested by officers from the Anlejie Police Station on July 24, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin.

22. [Chongqing] Mr. Bai Qunlin's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Bai Qunlin was arrested by officers from the Danzishi Police Station on July 4, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Beijing] Mr. Hua Wanlai Arrested

Mr. Hua Wanlai, 73, was arrested on July 13, 2015.

24. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Four practitioners including Ms. Sun Shuping, Ms. Sun Yanzhi, and Ms. Cai Hongshu were arrested by officers from the Zhenzi Town Police Station on July 24, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The four were detained at the Luan County Detention Center for 15 days.

Ms. Guo Huiling was arrested by officers from the Dashi Police Station on July 24, 2015, for distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She is detained at the Panyu Detention Center.

Ms. Han Shufen was arrested by plainclothes officers from Fengning Manchu Autonomous County on July 24, 2015.

Ms. Zhang Tongqin was arrested by officers from the Qunli Police Station on July 14, 2015. The police ransacked her home. She is detained at the Yazijuan Detention Center.

28. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang and her Husband Mr. Dagang Arrested

Ms. Jiang and her husband Mr. Dagang were arrested on July 24, 2015.

29. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Changhong's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Xu Changhong was arrested on her way to work by officers from the Wenquan Police Department and Liu Ning (刘宁) from the Domestic Security Division on July 22, 2015. The police later ransacked his home. His whereabouts are unknown.

30. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Qu Yazhong, Mr. Qi Hongshu, Mr. Wang Jinrong, Ms. Zhang Chunyan, and Mr. Wei Guoyu were arrested by officers from the Songshan District Domestic Security Division on July 21, 2015.

31. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Yu Fuquan Detained

Mr. Yu Fuquan was arrested by officers from the Hongshan District Domestic Security Division on July 5, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against former dictator Jiang Zemin. He was detained for five days.
