(Minghui.org) It has been over two months since Dafa practitioners started to submit legal complaints against Jiang Zemin for the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Although practitioners understand the importance and necessity for bringing Jiang to justice, many feel that it is not easy to reveal their identity and address, as required by the legal system.

Preparing Lawsuits

I did not plan to include such personal information at the beginning, because I thought the persecution I experienced was not severe enough to put together a case. Then, after learning that the majority of our local practitioners had filed lawsuits, several of us got together to discuss our concerns. We started by reading the Fa.

Master said:

“Indeed, it should be sued (enthusiastic applause from the disciples); all of humanity should sue it. It has harmed all Chinese people, as well as many people in other regions all over the world. So many people are going to be dragged into Hell because of its lies.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2015 New York Fa Conference”)

Our understanding was that this is an opportunity given by Master to practitioners to further establish our mighty virtue, as well as an opportunity for sentient beings to learn about Dafa and choose wisely for their future.

Master also said:

“Your enlightened, original nature will automatically know what to do.” (“Expounding on the Fa” from Essentials for Further Advancement)

Thus, we decided to begin working on our legal complaints immediately. With practitioners' help and the lawsuit models shared on the Minghui website, we completed our files in no time. While writing and preparing the documents, we reminded ourselves to get rid of any human notions that could be attached to our actions and to instead maintain compassion and kindness.

As Master told us:

“What we want is to stop the persecution. A desire for revenge—doing something to those who have persecuted us—is not something you should have. As cultivators, you should be focusing on saving people. [If you are thinking,] 'You’ve persecuted me, so in the future I’ll be sure to get you back,' then you’re an ordinary person, aren’t you? You should not have the thought of revenge.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2015 New York Fa Conference”)

Mailing the Lawsuits

I heard that some practitioners experienced obstacles at post offices when trying to mail their indictments to the court. So I said to myself that it was time to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to the post office staff.

When I went to a post office to request service for delivery, the clerk said that mail related to Falun Gong issues was prohibited according to their internal policy. I explained to her calmly that based on the state constitution, it is my right to mail a letter as well as to file a legal complaint against someone who caused harm to millions of innocent people.

While stiff at the beginning, the clerk softened upon hearing what I said. She told me that she could lose her job if she mailed the indictment.

I replied, “If that's the case, then you are experiencing persecution as well.” I then elaborated on how Falun Dafa has been defamed with lies by the state propaganda, and that she and the post office system should support upholding justice and be proud of herself for so doing, instead of assisting in the persecution.

“What you said is right,” she said. “I am not against you at all. But I am still afraid of losing my job. I can sell you the envelopes, and you can try some other offices, as they may be able to process it for you.”

Two other staff members joined in the conversation and told me they had no choice, and that their supervisor also demanded they report Falun Dafa customers. “I understand your dilemma,” I said. “And I believe you won't do anything like reporting me.”

Before I left, I handed the clerk a brochure detailing the reasons for suing Jiang, which she accepted.

More Attempts

Other practitioners and I decided to go to a nearby city to mail out four legal complaintst. I had some hesitation, but the other practitioners encouraged me and supported me strongly.

Then I felt my righteous thoughts become stronger, and my fear disappeared.

Arriving at the post office, we told a staff member that we needed delivery services. She asked what was it for, and we told her it was a lawsuit. She asked to check the package, and I passed her a complete copy of the lawsuit, including the copy of my ID, signature, and fingerprint.

She took a quick look, and instead of checking the contents inside, and processed the packages.

It was so easy and smooth! I enlightened that Master already arranged everything well for us practitioners, and we just needed to do it—while also getting rid of any human notions, fear, and attachments. Walking out of the post office, the other practitioners and I said at the same time, “Thank you, Master!”

To practitioners who have not yet prepared or filed a lawsuit—please take action! Step out of the fear that comes from human notions, and catch up with the pace of Fa-rectification. Suing Jiang, based on one's personal persecution experience, is not only to seek justice for oneself, but to uphold justice for all who have been persecuted.
