(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 were illegally arrested.

1. [Chengjiang County, Yunnan Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Yan, Ms. Yuan Yiqun, Ms. Yang Li, and Ms. Yang Huilan were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Chengjiang County Police Department on January 8, 2015, for distributing table calendars with information about Falun Gong. They are being held at the Hongta District Detention Center in Yuxi City.

2. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Lin Penghui Arrested

Mr. Lin Penghui was arrested by officers from the Shenzhen City Police Department on June 17, 2015. His arrest was ordered by the Guangdong 610 Office and Police Department.

3. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Tang Yanli Detained

Ms. Tang Yanli was arrested and her home ransacked on June 26, 2015, for distributing Shen Yun DVDs. She is to be detained at the Detention Center of the Qidu Police Department for ten days.

4. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Cuifeng's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Yuan Cuifeng, from Yangzhai Village in Shuangyang Town, Zichuan District, was arrested in mid-June 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Xu Jianhua and Ms. Tang Ying Arrested

Mr. Xu Jianhua and Ms. Tang Ying were arrested by officers from the Gaoli Town Police Station on June 25, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Dingxing Detention Center.

6. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xia Detained

Ms. Xia was arrested by plainclothes officers on June 20, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong, and a complaint letter against Jiang Zemin, the former Communist Party head. She is being held in Wulitun Village.

7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiumei Arrested

Ms. Chen Xiumei was arrested by officers from the Quanchenglu Police Station and Keyuanlu Police Station on June 20, 2015. The police ransacked her home.

8. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Lin's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Zhou Lin, 49, was arrested by local police officers in January 2013. The police ransacked her home. She was taken to the Dongdong Detention Center and her whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Geng Huaipu's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Geng Huaipu was arrested on June 25, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Dongguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yue Ling Detained

Ms. Yue Ling was arrested by officers from the Nanshan Domestic Security Division on June 24, 2015. She is detained at the Tongle Village Detention Center in Xili Town, Nanshan City.

11. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiao Xiuping Arrested

Ms. Jiao Xiuping was arrested on on June 29, 2015, on her way to Ms. Xing Chunrong's home by officers from the Jilin Domestic Security Division, who were monitoring Ms. Xing's home. Ms. Jiao was interrogated and then released.

12. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shufang and Ms. Yang Detained

Ms. Li Shufang and Ms. Yang were arrested on June 22, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at the Tongzhou Detention Center.

13. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Kehui and Ms. Chen Hua Detained

Ms. Wang Kehui, in her 60s, and Ms. Chen Hua, in her 50s, were arrested by officers from the Daning Police Station on the morning of June 27, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at the Zhabei Detention Center.
