The Growing Tide of Suing Jiang—Changes in the Police
(Minghui.org) Throughout China, the tide of suing Jiang Zemin for his brutal persecution of Falun Dafa is growing and strengthening.
This has caused a tremendous impact in China and abroad, especially for the people in the Chinese public security organizations, Procuratorate, and courts, which have been at the forefront of persecuting Falun Gong.
Change of Heart
A local practitioner was detained for 15 days last year for telling people about Falun Gong and the persecution.
A few days ago, the head of the local police station found some of this practitioner's family members. He said to them, "Falun Gong practitioners are good people."
He also admitted that they should not be detained. "We would like to return your things we took from your home last year,” he said. “At your convenience, please stop by the station and pick them up.”
'Give My Best to Master Li'
While out talking to people about Falun Gong, a local practitioner spoke with one gentleman. "Sir, do you know about ‘quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to ensure a safe and good future?'” he asked. “I can give you this software that ‘scales the great firewall.’ With this you can read about what is really happening in China and around the world."
To his surprise, this man responded politely. "Thank you,” he said. “I have already been ‘scaling the wall’ and I have quit the CCP online.”
He then added: "I know that you Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I am a secretary in the city police department, but I did not directly take part in the persecution of Falun Gong. Please give my best to Master Li when he returns to China."
The Tide Flows Onward
At our Fa-study, another practitioner reported these two events to the group. We all understand that these changes are caused by the recent lawsuits filed by practitioners against Jiang Zemin.
Many practitioners are preparing criminal indictments to sue Jiang Zemin; some have already sent their lawsuits or complaints to Beijing, and some are still busy preparing others.
